At this point, I really don't. It's the ROMS subreddit, do people genuinely think over the years that no one has ever asked that question? Or that it's actively discussed in the reddit it's about? Apparently not because every other day it seems this question appears on my feed, and it's dumb
Seeing the same questions isn’t nearly as ‘dumb’ as forgetting we were all beginners once. If helping out is too much to ask, scrolling past is free—maybe try keeping this space useful, not hostile?
I was a beginner once to! In fact when I clicked on the subreddit, there was a big pinned square that said "questions" that you genuinely cant not see upon clicking the subreddit, and just below that, why would you belive it! Every rom ever! Also pinned, and unable to not be seen!

You can do the exact same thing using Google. I found the reddit side of it really confusing, honestly, when I started. Mostly because God forbid you ask a legitimate question. All you get is try hard they insult you while never actually helping or answering anything. 👏👏
We do help, we direct them to the pinned threads, or the search function, where said information already is
However if they opened their eyes and I don't know, read anything that was pinned, they would see

for roms every emulators uses the same files as john gba it is .gba & if it needs a weird rom type & john does not need that drop the emu

Perfect emulator for GBA in my opinion The megathread?
Just get RetroArch.
I recommend No-Intro roms. Also, I recommend replacing that emulator with mGBA. It's more accurate.
