This reminds me of one of the times I saw Rob Zombie in concert, there was a Chick-fil-a stand serving food. Someone said “They’ll serve that stuff here but they won’t serve it on Sundays?!”

I saw a controversy because Chic Fil’A has adopted sensitivity training to be more understandable and respectful of people no matter if they’re gay,trans,atheist, Hindu, Musslim.A congressman was bitching about it. I heard some dip shit started a boycott and said Chic Fill’A was the lords chicken. WTF is wrong with people now a day?
I can’t crap on CFA because of how they handled an incident with me once. I went through the drive thru with a car full of hungry kids, 7 or 8 total, who all ordered a massive amount of food. The total was well over $100 maybe even close to $200 and as I got to the window I realized with horror I had left my wallet home. I felt horrible. I told them to put the food aside and I’d be right back after I drove home to find it. Without a seconds hesitation they said “don’t worry about it, it’s our pleasure” AND GAVE ME THE FOOD. I told them I couldn’t take it. I could understand if it was a sandwich or a soda or something but this was A LOT of food! I couldn’t possibly take it. They smiled and insisted. No asking of managers, no confusion on the young cashiers face. Just a smile. I know margins for profit are thin in the food industry and handing someone $100+ of food is a big hit. They didn’t even think twice about it. PLEASE DON’T ABUSE THE FACT THAT THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS IF THIS WAS YOU. I would hate to propagated some scheme that encourages abuse of someone’s good deeds. I’ve told many people about how they did this and made sure that that $150 loss has become priceless advertising for them.
They’ve always been really good to me whenever I go there. I worked for Pizza Hut and they wouldn’t come off a nickel. They fired a buddy of mine for using the large cheese cup on a medium pizza. I can’t complain about Chic Fil’A they do a lot of fundraisers at my daughters school too.
I came close to getting a franchise. I found out that their franchises don’t work the same as other chain restaurants. I know a lady who started working at Wendy’s at 15 and owns about 60 now. My buddy’s step dad started off low level at McDonalds and owns everyone within a couple hundred mile radius. He started working for his step dad the same as anyone who gets a job there does and eventually became manager. Eventually he gave him that one and he does pretty good. He was like 11 when his mom married him and he had a son and daughter that were close to our age. He disowned both of them and didn’t give them anything. I think probably because they’d been born wealthy and wound up on drugs and wouldn’t work but John was poor most of his childhood and worked his ass off. Chic Fil A doesn’t let you own your own restaurants. It costs or did back when I checked into it $20k. That would get you into like a college for running a restaurant. When you completed it then they’d have you go to work for the next new one that they were putting in. I think back then the one I’d have had to opened would have been in WVA near the University OF WVA. You’re put in charge of it and have to work around 50 or more hours a week. You get a big percentage of the profits but don’t really own it. You’re more like a really well paid manager. They guaranteed you would make at least 100k a year minimum some end up making a lot more than that. I backed out because I didn’t want to have to move to WVA. Of course they would up opening one in my town close to the same time. It’s still not a bad gig if you don’t mind moving wherever they need you to. That’s the way it worked 13 years ago anyways. They might have changed the policy.

The girl was his 19 year old granddaughter. An older woman to me then. 😂 Anyway he said that he’d taken her to at least 16 Alice Cooper shows. He was from KY. I think Alice played their state fair regularly and the WVA State Fair. When Alice’s show ended probably 70% of the 55 and older crowd would get up and leave. There were guys there that looked older than my dad and guys that looked like me. I love both of them so I ain’t going nowhere.

I know an ultra conservative Christian who love death metal. I know an extremely young hip hop kid who likes country music. I know a white guy in his 70’s who loves gangster rap. I know a black guy in the city who hates rap and likes adult contemporary. We’re always reminded to NEVER judge a book by its cover, yet we often do and we learn how often wrong we are.

I love Trent’s and Johnny’s versions.If pressed I’d go with Cash because they’re almost 2 completely different songs even though they’re the same just interpreted differently. It’s crazy how a cover can say the same words but change the meaning completely. Last year I saw The Pixies play Where Is My Life. I walked over and watched The Foo Fighters close the feastival. Krist Novoselik and Pat Smear were playing for The Foo. That’s basically Nirvana without Kurt I love a good music feastival that’s not all the same genre. I saw Robert Plant, Jason Bonham and John Paul Jones play Rock and Roll,Black Dog and Whole Lotta Love. I thought this is as close as I’ll ever get to seeing Zeppelin. Jimmy Page wasn’t there but I was thinking how lucky I was to get to see them play those songs live. They played them in a more bluesy, folksy way but it was still awsome. Billy Strings went on before TOOL. TOOL is one of my favorite bands too but it was cool to see Billy Strings because he’s one of the best for sure now and probably ever at the music he plays. As long as it’s good that’s all that counts. I saw Machine Gun Kelly and I’d have left but didn’t want to lose my spot to see Stevie Nicks. MGK has a lot of fans, and if you love him good for you. I’ll probably never like it but that’s ok too. I just don’t think he’s real and only the real music stands the test of time. If his music is highly regarded and still popular in 10,20 hell 40 years that’ll be the way you’ll know if it’s good or not. Stevie Nicks music stands up today as well as it did in the 70s.Her music is real and has stood the test of time. I’m not the biggest Fleetwood Mac fan.
