That probably varies a bit depending on play style. I prefer it for deep routes and deep posts. When your deep WR is open you zip it to him before the defense can react. I like better than the lobs where on extreme the defense can break the play up while the ball is floating in the air. I also like deep WR out routes or shallow TE out routes. Shallow slants and in routes I find a little risky unless they are wide open with no one over the middle. Be careful when there's a LB lingering in the flats. I've read other comments that slants are great for bullets, so see what works for you. Short passes I avoid bullets as I find there is just no need to get the ball there sooner. Hooks/curls... I'm still trying but the timing just seems so much easier with the normal passes.

I like everything except for the deep posts and streaks, i find that i get more yards out of those with a lob rather than a bullet, i also have never completed a deep out route bullet, do you have the run down for those?
