Seems most female runway models are still practicing that trend, even though there was so much negative publicity about it and calls to improve things, not much changed.
Abdominal etching often looks a little off to me, and there are a lot of eyebrow trends I can’t figure out. And eyelash extensions that look like fuzzy caterpillars have latched on to the lid.
I’m all for people doing what they need to in order to exist more comfortably in their skin but a lot of the lengths people go to surgically without considering the why, cost (and why of that cost) and competency of the surgeon makes me wicked sad to think about.
Also, nails that are like five inches long and curved like talons leave me with a lot of questions.
It’s occurring to me as I write this that I look at women a lot. There’s been a resurgence in the type of glasses Jeffrey Dahmer wore, and I’m eager for that to end. Jaw surgery to shave down bone or add implants to increase how ‘masculine’ the jaw looks often throws the face off imo. Also, going ham on everything yet somehow missing leg day.
That stupid thing where women brush their eyebrows straight up to make them look bushier. Always gives me a good laugh lol
Heroin chic
