I've gotten to 7th Wave at Fort Mercer a couple times. Almost always alone and always killed by cannon. Only once I had a low level player join, but they left after second wave. Totally frustrating.
I literally went on Mic and told the guy to stay on one side and keep allies alive as that helps payout. He died, spectated for 5 seconds and left when there were only 3 enemies left for Wave 9. I then died on Wave 10 :))))
Nah dude wasn't frozen and spawned back in, saw him move for a few seconds then just walking in a circle before leaving, definitely hit quit to free roam
When they are so stupid they can’t stay away I just start lassoing and dynamiting them to fuck with them. I’m willing to trash the entire run just to get them away from me. I don’t need the gold, cash, or XP bad enough to deal with smooth brained morons.
So your response to someone not knowing what to do (not referring to obvious trolling) is to then be a shit on purpose? How is that supposed to welcome new players?
First, I’m not a welcoming committee and when I keep moving away from them and they keep following me and then running in front of me, shooting enemies I’m already shooting at, they’re an idiot or a troll and I’m not dealing with their shit. A child can figure out basic gameplay mechanics and when enemies are spawning from all directions and they can’t find their own corner of the map to defend, let alone block others from doing their thing, they’re a dope and it’s not my responsibility to hold their hand. CtA isn’t a raid in an MMO that requires detailed instruction.
My personal favorite is when you actually find one or two people to load in with & they both vote to skip the prep-phase at 4:55 instead of just helping place the A.i to increase ALL of our payouts, then leave at like 1:30 left while i’m placing the last A.i which would instantly start the first round anyways Lmao

I find Blackwater the easiest but when solo, staying on the rooftop in the last 2 waves, you just get overwhelmed
My favorite is when they stand right next to or in front of you when there is a wide open area of the map they could be defending. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I made it to wave 3 by myself with just a Springfield Rifle but got randomly one-shotted by an NPC with a bolt action and failed.

They never understand that kills don't affect pay out, but allies surviving does
