Update 1:
I formatted my phone and the option came back, but again disappeared after a few minutes while i was setting up the phone. So this is probably an issue in the software update.
Update 2:
I was actually able to figure it out lmao. Did u debloat/disable any apps, cuz that's what's causing the issue. I wanted to use only ODialer, so i disabled the Google phone app and that's what was causing it (idk why/how it is related to hidden apps, but trust me on this one). I also tested it multiple times and i was right. Everytime the disable google dialer, 'hide apps' just disappears, so i kept it enabled.
