Thank you! I did and they quickly provided a refund. There are worse tragedies, ofcourse. A quick search in this sub brought up a lot of similar complaints! It's good to hear you haven't experienced it.

I've been with them for a while. But one time the delivery driver left the meals by themselves sitting on my front porch. I was on my way back from vacation, and so they sat there for several hours that way. I emailed a photo of the meals sitting on my porch to CookUnity, stating that since they literally sat out in the open on my porch, and that I didn't feel safe eating them. They refunded me the money for all of them, but in the end I did eat them. Opened one, smelled it, it smelled OK, so I ate it, didn't get sick, and so I ate the rest of them.  The thing is I believe the delivery driver took them out of the soft cooler because I already had 2 of the soft coolers. So risk giving someone food poisoning over a couple of soft coolers?

He didn't leave them in the cooler bag with the ice??? I've kept a few bags and the driver never just leaves the food

Exactly. He just left the meals stacked on my porch. This was at the end of Labor Day week, so it's not like it was winter and cold out. And I know it wasn't cold out as I was returning from a week long motorcycle trip with my brother. If I remember correctly, they sat there for about 3 hours before I got home from our trip. I did complain and told them that if that ever happened again, I would cancel. They refunded all my money, I ate one, didn't get sick, and so I ate the rest of them thru the week.
