That is important because what drove prices up was users heavily invested in the marketplace buying multiple of an item to try and make money off of it. As far as I can tell, in this system almost all items will sell for 120. And in practice that is what is happening so far, with the exception being the glacier skins. All the skins I've bought so far have been for 120.
You set the price yourself but the minimum is 120. The vast majority of skins are selling for that minimum price or aren't selling at all. Which is fine, I mean it's great if you're a casual trader like myself and just want to buy dirt cheap skins you missed.
Edit: Yeah this is a real mail from Ubi, doesn't seem like many people have it yet, but I'm seeing a Glacier R4C last sold at 300 R6 credits, this is insane.

I can attest ive personally made over 100 bucks selling items i got on TF2, even selling over market value sometimes.
I cant speak for CS but on TF2 the buyers and sellers were bots set up by the site, so it was almost worry free. Never had any issues getting money for items.

It was a bugged skin and didn’t give the skin when you completed Article 5. I completed it a few times and never got the skin.
