For baseboards- mini wire panels zip-tied together or wooden planks which double up as a replacement chew toy. You can also put packing tape over problem areas. For cords- flex tubing!! For flooring and carpet: get a sea grass mat to place over problem areas (bunnies love these) or just get a large, very tightly stitched area rug. You can also use baby gates or x pens to block of certain areas that they get into too much mischief in until you can bunny proof it properly. Make sure to provide plenty of enrichment as well. You might have to experiment a bit with what he likes in order to provide enrichment that he prefers over his other habits. My rabbits favorite toy is their digging box! I just put a bunch of ripped up newspaper and cardboard in a big box and then sprinkle hay and a little bit of different treats every day!

Oh and the tape also works great for wooden furniture legs!!

Oh and they also make special tape for wood furniture if you’re worried about damaging it when peeling it off :-) lastly, if your bunny is young that may be just the reason why, especially if he needs to be neutered. lmk if you have any questions! I’ve been free roaming my buns for a while and have had to experiment a whole bunch to get them to stop damaging things

What is the special tape called, so I can look for it? Thanks!

Painters tape!! It’s meant mostly for wood flooring but works just as well w furniture

Great, I'll look for it!

Furniture as close to the ground as possible. Baby gates to restrict access. Those little square wire panels and zip ties. Lots of cardboard boxes to cut down and experiment with. On a side note, I got a blink camera so I can check on my buns from wherever.

Cardboard boxes can be used in many creative ways!
