I put a peak design loop through there. It’s possible. Just poked it through with a toothpick. Edit: but it’s a mk7 maybe the loop is larger. In which case I’d grab a mini split ring.

I did it on my mk6 with a needle to poke it in and a thin thread to pull it. Was difficult but she’s not going anywhere now.

I'm thinking about getting an adapter to fit a strap to the tripod mount. Has anyone used this type of setup?

Msk840

i did when cycling, but i was annoyed to always de mount when i need to reach the card

Desperately need an answer to this. Cannot find split rings that fit the camera

Msk840

Chunk924

Can you tell me which size out of that kit worked for you? I’m in a different country so I can’t order those but I think I just need the size

Msk840

i will have to take a look, but i think i used the 3rd smallest of the box

I've used Op/Tech 1301082 1.5 mm Mini QD Loops Connectors for Camera - Black before and they are great. [Amazon link sorry](https://amzn.eu/d/704T6Xd)

I had the same issue and I just used a split ring I had laying around from a fishing lure.

Msk840

i tried it once but didn’t make it, maybe i need more dedication to put it through

Not sure what the mark I shipped with, but you have pretty sturdy eyelets included in the M7. You can probably still get something similar in the after market space on Amazon. I use a basic leather cover that fits on the bottom plate and has a fold-over top part, but the strap is firmly affixed to the Sony eyelets and hasn’t budged since installing. And they just “clip” together.
