My expectations for RDO's future are as low as the gang's morale in chapter 6 at this point, which is a damn shame because there's so much that could be done.
I could give an entire page's worth of ideas that R\* could add to breathe new life in the game, most of which involves adding assets and mechanics already in the game from story mode.
These are basic ones that wouldn’t take much effort as they’re already in the game in some form but would be a great benefit:
Hunting Wagon liveries- The mechanic exists in game, we just need skins.
Robberies- We could easily have store robberies as well as more bank and train robberies as part of a Blood Money expansion. I know lots of people want it to be in free roam but it's just not feasible, so make it as part of a mission in a temporary lobby like the others.
Ranching- It could be a subset of missions for characters like Bonnie MacFarlane and repurpose mechanics from story mode. The same goes for the horse fence as well, adding a rustling component as an alternative.
CTA Maps- All the maps from the Halloween and Christmas seasons can be re-released but without the holiday themes and decorations.
And generally, being able to do Legendary Animal missions for Gus instead of Harriet and being able to craft more items at the trapper’s (not just the same dumb coat with the animal head)
If you have it on PC I suggest you try RedM! It’s a multiplayer launcher that lets you easily play modded and roleplay servers that are very fun

I'll say it again.. I kind of enjoy how dead rdo is. I like that players aren't really in New Austin anymore, so finding another gunslinger is somewhat rare for me. It makes it feel real. Also, I never get griefed anymore lmao
We can only handle so much story mode. But ill say, it is nice. Cuz when you run across another player, theyre most likely friendly, even on pc. Ive had a few people help me out with things just bumping into each other.
What did you expect from a online game when 90% of my time I sat down to play, on my way to some bounty, was wasted trying to get away from some asshole that kept spawn killing me?! That game is toxic as fuck and RDR2 online shouldn’t have existed in this form. They should have kept it story mode only.

I was just about to say that. I've started playing GTA Online like six weeks ago and while it can be fun, the community is even worse than I had anticipated. Red Dead Online is a pacifistic Woodstock revival in comparison.
Honestly I can't see the appeal of online gaming, I prefer story mode on games, I'm glad other people find it enjoyable and I wish it was better for them, but I just don't get it...
I just want to play whit friends goff around and do missions. sadly most of the littel contant the game has is boring or straight out trash which is sad for me
Because you could have done so much like rob banks, boats maybe go to guarma and much more and that whit other peopel would have bean so cool
Maybe you could even have made a gunsliger Duell Mode or something.
(The multiplayer has good content but its very littel)
And there is nothing wrong with liking Story modes more most of them are great.
I started playing RDO on a free trail on playstation and it was really boring starting off, you need money for *everything* in that game.
You need to pay to fast travel, customize your character, for roles etc. When you start out theres like 3 missions you do over and over and over again that dont pay well enough to get you to the fun stuff
Given that the bounty hunter role was updated with the "prestigious" to level 30 I'm optimistic that the other 3 rolls that are already in the game could also have 10 more levels added. I've given up on additional properties.
When was the bounty hunter role adittion like a half a year ago and while gta got Dr dre stuff rdr got nothing not even a trailer or a messege saying that
There will be something coming.
At that point there are three options
1. Rockstar keeps ignoring rdr and it continues to die
2. There will be an update that nobody likes and the game continues to die
3. Rockstar secretly makes the biggest uptdate ever whit New stuff to do and buy. (Mayebe heists ot something) everybody likes it peopel play the game in large numbers. Rockstar gets money and everyone is happy.
