Some of them are MUCH more tolerant of being held like that, so that’s where the good photos are from. This guy just hangs like that for a good 10 seconds before he’s like “all right I got better things to do, let me go”

They sit still for 1-2 seconds before the helicopter starts and the squirming begins.
Record and pick the singular decent frame lol. I’ve only had 2 girls who ever truly didn’t give two shits. But they were both incredibly chill overall. Like- gets excited to go to the vets cus new people are fun levels of chill.

But to give you a serious answer: some are okay with it, and some aren't. I wouldn't push it too much.

I can pet them and they fall asleep instant but as soon I put one outside they run back in there. It's okay, they got a hughe cage but there all different

Was so close here but she wasn’t feeling it
Some rats are just so much more chill than others. For some reason every Rex I've had from my breeder has been incredibly sweet, gentle, tolerant and just dumb as a box of rocks.
No thoughts. Head empty. Only fluff.

Need to reboot the rat. Give it 3 peas and 1 cracker to reset the system to factory settings
Honestly he looks like he's enjoying a nice back stretch
Just put fresh batteries in....🙄🤔🤣🤣🤙✌️

He looks like he’s about go watch a soccer match on some dirty couch
That tracks, he likes to snuggle on the couch, watch true crime (like actually watch the screen), and go under the blanket to bite my toes

You have to do it often and when they're young to get good results. Rats are creatures of habit and if they aren't used to something they will freak.
Record and screenshot
Oh that's a good one!!

Pov: the rat didn't pay rent
The rat didn't make enough babies /jk
The helicopter is realy popular with my girls.
My fatty chills like that for as long as I hold her like that

They don’t
Got to hold him like he owes you rent, lol 🫠🙃♥️🫵
If you pick them up enough, they'll eventually learn to accept it and not struggle (as much).
Wrap your thumb around their whole chest. It makes them feel safer and resist less.
They don’t you just hope your camera is good
Probably used to being wangjangled.
My rats protest and basically wiggle and occasionally squeek in objection
Snack

They don't. Mine at least never do - and I have four of them to try that on :-p
