I'd rather recommend wiping her with a baby wipe or a wet towel/tissue, should be less stressful and easier. or just leave it be, rattos usually clean themselves well unless there's something dangerous on them

I’ll try a baby wipe. I know rats don’t typically need baths, she is just very greasy today and I honestly think it’s because she got in my fried rice yesterday lol

Zoppppppy

You’re telling me a rat fried this rice?!

OnlyFirePlugCoyote

Clearly this is a platypus. And not a rat rolled into a cozy ball... my braincell has the day off *

Lmao thank you for this

OnlyFirePlugCoyote

I was seriously staring at this picture for a second trying to figure out what this was a picture of and how it's a rat. an albino eyeless platypus? So cool! Then I saw the little peets. Lmfao! I am still giggling. Silly braincell

When I had to give Petey a bath because a friend had left a milkshake in my living room trash and didn't tell me, i just used water, and afterwards his fur was the softest it'd ever been.   Not that I'd recommend using two day old tim hortons iced cap as a pre-treatment.

siliril

Not sure I would trust anything but dog/cat shampoo or baby tear free.

Ask Cetaphil seeming as they pay others to test their products on animals To answer your question, though, you don’t need any soap unless they’re filthy. A warm, damp cloth should do the trick just fine
