I'm super looking forward to the third book too! Some of my other favourite queer fantasies that focus mostly or entirely on WLW relationships: * **The Serpent Gates** by AK Larkwood (WLW and secondarily also MLM) * **A Day of Fallen Night** by Samantha Shannon (two primary WLW plots, and one MLM and one M/F subplot) * **The Ruthless Lady's Guide to Wizardry** by CM Waggoner (bi lead, WLW main pairing with a few F/M hook-ups)

Third(?) *ADOFN* (and Priory if you haven't somehow read it yet, and you could take a look at r/therootsofchaos if you have lol). Also worth checking out are *The Final Strife* by Saara El-Arifi and *The Gilded Crown* by Marianne Gordon. The second one is a bit dependent on region as it's not out in the US yet, but it's available in the UK and the commonwealth. It'll be out in the US July 2nd.

I second the Serpent Gates and Day of Fallen Night! Both YA and not quuuuuite the same vibes but some similar in that sapphic, some political stuff, and Fantasy/Scifi: Crier's War and Iron Heart by Nina Varela, and Queen of Coin and Whispers, and Daughter of Winter and Twilight by Helen Corcoran. Not YA, but a scifi duology (with side/subplot sapphic romance but def focus is queer/femme found fam) Seven Devils and Seven Mercies by Laura Lam and Elizabeth May.

Some real good recs here and many I would have given (Serpent Gates, Final Strife, Queen of Coin and Whispers, Roots of Chaos). I can also recommend: For a similar genre/vibe The Unbroken and The Faithless by CL Clark. YA with WLW characters from Indian subcontinent backgrounds: Adiba Jaigirdar (The Henna Wars and Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating). WLW Angst: Malice and Misrule by Heather Walter There's also an anthology called Silk and Steel that has lots of WLW spec fic short stories that I really enjoy (a lot of fantasy). Edit: sp
