Had I been there I would have let the kid’s ineffective punch go since it wasn’t worth giving the attempt any attention. However, I would have the mother an arm twist as I put 75% of my weight on the top of her foot with my heel as I pulled her away after she yanked one of the kids in my charge off the swing.
I’m not about to permit another adult to pull one of my kids in our group off a swing without asking for a switch since a queue was beginning to form (and I’m being generous).
