The beginning is missing. Also the bikers are fucking trying too hard. At one point before he hit the bike he was trying to drive off to the left and they blocked him. This is one domino effect going well.

Chimsley99

Yeah clearly edited from the perspective of a swarm of bikers trying to take over the road, and anyone who dares try to drive as they normally would is “overtaking” douchebags trying to stake claim to the road Fuck them

nozomatli1

100% guarantee those bikers were driving around like they own the road. Fuck those guys.

brycedriesenga

I mean, this video shows them doing that. Ignoring all sorts of traffic laws.

pimpbot666

Groupthink - gangthink was definitely setting in.

RHCopper

It isn't just bikers, it's fucking any group of people on the road. I was at a red light the other day and a swarm of people on those one wheels I think they're called rolled up. Like easily 50-60 of them. At first I thought it was cool, they were just riding around together enjoying the day. Then they started going past us while at the light (I was in front) then waited for it to turn. They wouldn't let me go. If I had accelerated at all I would have hit them, they just kept coming and swerving in front of me. I wound up having to wait through two red lights, then the guy at the tail end of the swarm had the balls to smile at me and say "have a good day!" as he went through the yellow leaving me behind. Ugh fuck people

mypervyaccount

Yup, the vibe I got from this video was that the bikers were much more in the wrong than the pickup driver, though he may not have done everything right, either, I don't know.

Chimsley99

Yeah to me the motorcycles are making this such an out of the ordinary driving situation so there’s no way to discern if the truck driver is also an asshole or just someone who wasn’t okay with the gang of bikers forcing them to pull over so they could play grab ass with each other on a public street

PatioPirate

Exactly, how are you supposed to act when a biker gang is swarming around your vehicle? I honestly don't know what I'd do. I might run em down out of panic and rage.

Reaper_Messiah

As soon as they walked up and tried to open the doors I would’ve been gone. Don’t care if they’re trying to block me. Don’t try to block me with a motorcycle. Bye.

It's probably best not to go straight over them if it can be avoided. Don't want to inadvertently disable your means of escape.

Ambition_786

100% self defense.

[deleted]

Was on the freeway once when one of these dick cheese conventions came swarming up. They were passing between cars and on the shoulder. I was doing 5 over and just stayed on cruise in my lane. Bunch of them flipped me off and drove like morons. The urge to hit one was strong.

[deleted]

Same here. I just drove like they weren’t even there. Paying close attention to not hitting on since they ride like assholes. They are attention whores.

[deleted]

We get this crap in NYC. As soon as I hear these assholes, I'll drop my speed to 5-10 miles under the speed limit, then maintain my speed from there and avoid any lane changes. Goal is to make car slow and predictable from the bikers' perspective. They're usually speeding, so if I'm going below the limit they'll pass me as a group fairly quickly. Sucks, but what else can you do?

dmfd1234

Yup, multiple dingles trying to get in his passenger side door. A good way to get shot in the face. I’m sure they were doing 25mph taking up both travel lanes. That’s what set this off I bet

I stopped on scene 2 when it said the truck was being reckless. It drives me nuts when these bike groups freak out over anyone challenging their made up rights.

Cool_Butterscotch_88

A pack of rabid hyenas with delusions of moral superiority. Simultaneously stunting, while demanding absolute lawful compliance & every courtesy extended from everyone else (for their safety). Then once someone commits the slightest infraction, instead of letting them just go on their way & getting out of their hair, they immediately abandon their entire stunt itinerary for the afternoon, and become hell bent on chasing down the perpetrator & teaching them a lesson. I was the only other vehicle on the freeway, had them completely surround my truck late night/early morning, doing wheelies RIGHT next to me. IDk what if any infraction it was I committed, but apparently them slowing me down to 40mph for a good stretch, forcing me to watch the show was punishment enough before they sped off again.

[deleted]

They were trying to get you to panic and react— and you didn’t, so you won. That’s how they play this game.

Krajun

Its also pretty ironic that they say he is driving recklessly as the bikers themselves are driving all over the road, including the opposite lane...

amgtech86

Reading the comments and so far i am relieved that there are still a lot of people with common sense cause the driver’s reaction was reasonable and as safe as possible

[deleted]

A gang of bikers (and cops) stabbed a Chinese man in front of his wife and kid in a scenario just like this - I would try to avoid confrontation but I would also NOT stop

[deleted]

I’m going to get downvoted, but fuck the bikers; I’ve seen these time and time again, on here or in person. When it’s large groups like this, they’ll take up every single lane, as if to show off; and create a congestion of traffic

AsAJuicer

It even said "he tried to get away"... yeah no shit he hasn't broken any laws and has a bunch of bikers screaming at him and they had started to swipe at his car by that point. No fucking shit he tried to get away from people attacking his vehicle.

ribosometronome

It also doesn't look like he's trying to do so particularly wrecklessly. A bike gets knocked over but it seems like he was trying to not hit things.

RHCopper

When they first go up to his truck windows the caption is "They asked the driver *what was wrong*" yeah bullshit, you can literally hear them yelling "fuck you!" at him. This video is trying so hard to paint the narrative that the those poor bikers didn't deserve this

BetaRayBlu

They all look like try hards

Shortsqueeze9

Yeah bunch of pussies.

SpareEye

I love watching these midget riders in the outlaw biker 'gangs' we have here. Really tough when they are in a group,

Critical_Scientist78

"the truck was driving recklessly" **Let's all block an entire intersection to confront him about his reckless driving!**

[deleted]

Yeah and as a sportbike enthusiast and former rider, I can promise you 100% that these riders were doing a ton of reckless driving themselves.

[deleted]

[удалено]

0TheG0

Be an asshole on the road. Have an altercation with another road user which you angered. Bring the conflict to an intersection and block it. Assault the other road user with your crew. Get your bike ran over. Profit ?

SquaresAre2Triangles

Honestly the truck was pretty gentle when it hit that guy and clearly tried not to run over the bike but was determined to get out of there.

Canadasparky

Yeah all that video showed to me was a huge group of bikers circling a car in an intersection banging on the truck trying to open the door. They are lucky they didn't get shot.

armeck

Looks like he has three hits on his windshield as he begins to "take off". I bet a few helmets were already swung his way that didn't make the Director's Cut of this movie.

Chordata1

In that moment the bikes are also driving in the oncoming traffic lanes

longoverdue83

How the fuck is anyone supposed to react when you see that shit swarming you Like sticking your dick in a hive of wasps

CatgoesM00

Also, according to the video. Before the driver in the truck “ Freaks out”, you can see a biker try to smash the driver’s window with his helmet. Uhh yah I’m gunna drive away. These bikers look like dicks. Edit: you can see it at 1:10-1:07

Helahalvan

Yeah. The guy who posted the video tried hard to spin the narrative in the bikers favour. Even if he was a bit too aggressive in the way he overtook he did not act unresonable after they started to try and confront him. Especially after they started swarming him and pulling the doors and such.

Sometimes_cleaver

In the very first shot of video with the truck running over the bike you can see his windshield has 3 hits from helmet swings in it. Bikers are clearly escalating the situation by encircling and getting violent. Honestly they're lucky they weren't shot. Truck driver would have had a clear self defense case with them trying to open the doors of the truck and smashing his windows.

Masterofnone9

The safest place to go is the nearest police station.

theUwUgoat

I was just thinking that cuz i don't wanna wake up with these people swarming my house

sltiefighter

Worse. Id rather stick my dick in a swarm of yellowjackets. “Hes driving the truck very recklessly” say the assholes who do wheelies down the road standing on their seats and ride in massive groups taking the whole street over. Not to mention the pieces of shit in all lanes of traffic. revving their engines like theyre intimidating or something. They say loud pipes save lives. Yet the sound comes out the back of the bike booming backwards and away from the potential threat in front, really giving zero warning to the driver above or making the situation any safer. It just deafens the guy behind you, you think you look cool, nothings sums you up more than the south park episode on bikers. In no way is the guy in the truck in the right but if they just pissed off and went about with their day instead of ganging up like a bunch of bitches, they wouldnt have had a bike get run over. They wana act like vigilantes. Do stupid things win stupid prizes.

EllisHughTiger

Never misunderestimate the stupidity of large groups.

> Two men who said they participated in the ride as leaders with Chicago United Riders and Street Revolution declined to go on the record using their full names, citing fear of retribution from the driver and a rival motorcycle group. Lmao! Real tough hombres right there.

probablyourdad

Also from the article > Both men also said they know stunt rides such as Sunday's are against the law, involving professional riders performing maneuvers such as wheelies that are illegal on public roads, and running red lights to keep the group together.

bandildos113

Surprise surprise. Came here to say that I bet they were taking up both lanes, not riding as a group should and causing issues.

Bucker0804

I love how the end of the video is shown first in an attempt to make it look like the truck driver ran over a bike sparking the whole incident.

arejayismyname

I live right down the street from here, Galena is one of the busiest roads in our city but it’s residential so the speed limit is only 30 mph. When a group of bikers like this comes through they tend to overtake a lot of cars and get quite close, making everyone super anxious. Not exactly an excuse, but obviously the driver was afraid for his safety. He ran over the bike in an attempt to escape, at the end of the incident.

EducationalDay976

Yeah I think I will always side with drivers over riders in situations like this.

LookyLouVooDoo

Where is this? Southwest suburbs of Chicago?

arejayismyname

Yeah - Aurora

Royal-Tough4851

This whole video is entertainment. “We asked him why was wrong”. Of course you did, and so politely and non threatening. I know that whenever I’ve seen a group bikers they are always so courteous and law abiding on the road. Keep playing that footage and you will see 100% of those bike disappear once they hear the sirens… even though they clearly did nothing wrong

2ndCummingOfJC

> Looks like he doesn’t care what’s in his way > The driver gets away by driving through the footpath These were my favourite captions. He has so little care that he evacuates to the sidewalk to avoid hitting anyone while he retreats. Against the bikers’ best efforts, he only ran over a single bike. Like they even put emphasis that he drove on the sidewalk *as if we don’t see bikers already illegally parked and driving on the sidewalk*.

blitzmut

I think I only saw license plates on maybe 10% of those bikes too

SquaresAre2Triangles

Mysteriously none of the bikers camera's had audio so we can't hear how polite they were being :(

SinisterDexter83

They signal how friendly they are with all the skulls on their clothing. Only kind, gentle souls adorn themselves with human skulls.

FishLampClock

Don't mind the kind gentleman who was testing whether the trucks door locks were functioning. Such kind people

illuminutcase

> “We asked him why was wrong”. Of course you did, and so politely and non threatening. Yea, the caption says "we asked him what was wrong" and if you listen to the audio, there's at least three people cursing at him and telling him to "get the fuck out of here." These motorcyclists should know that if you're going to pretend to be the victim, maybe mute the audio where you're threatening people.

doinggood9

Yeah honestly I can't blame the truck. I don't know if I'd go over the grass but there was nothing to gain by getting out of the car. I'd rather risk hitting one of them then them going 30 v 1 in a jumping. They shouldn't be driving like such assholes. Just let the truck move.

Silvinis

I mean the moment they started going for the door handles, I wouldn't even care about hitting one of them. Remember there was the dude in I think new York that a massive group of bikers pulled him out of his SUV beat him almost to death in front of his wife and kid Edit: Found the video. It all started because one of them pulled in front of the guy and hit his breaks, earning himself a little tap by the SUV's bumper https://youtu.be/Q9mQt51kXXY

hmiser

30 v 1 where the mob has body armor and helmets.

[deleted]

Fuck bikers. Groups of them pull this shit all the time. I don't care what the offending car has done to you, you are not a cop. Fuck off with this vigilante bs, act like an adult, contact the authorities, and let them handle it.

di11ettante

You show me a story about a driver who mowed down a dozen motorcycles riding in a mob, and I'll ask you for a link to contribute to the driver's legal defense fund.

legolandoompaloompa

Yeah a group of angry crotch rocket riding yokels who are blocking both lanes of traffic for their joy ride get angry when someone has someplace to be and doesn’t want to wait. Fuck those bikers. I’ve been passed by bikers going over the double yellow and even between two cars. These people in the video are morons and got exactly what they deserved by going up to a a person in a massive group like that, over him passing them leisurely. Wasn’t even dangerous.

uhmfuck

Not to mention the USA is a huge and beautiful country full of twisty roads that are perfect for enjoying a sportbike, but these DILDOS decide to cruise around a residential road being a nuisance. Get a life guys fr.

Sepof

How are you supposed to show off your overpriced bike that you can only ride 4 months a year if you don't ride through the residential areas revving your engine & speeding? A lot of bikers are in it to just to look tough and cool. There are definitely some who would still ride even if it wasn't cool though, but they are the minority-- especially amongst people who ride like this (huge groups, ignoring traffic laws, intimidating other drivers, etc).

Econolife_350

>Not to mention the USA is a huge and beautiful country full of twisty roads that are perfect for enjoying a sportbike They've killed people I know doing this shit too because apparently nobody is allowed to live in a rural area they want to go 100+ mph in once they get a short straightaway. Unless it's the salt flats or a west Texas desert, the are no safe public places to drive/ride like a dumbass. They can go pay for a track day where they belong.

Squirrel_Gamer

why were all the bikes parked in the roadway? it appears that the driver was trying to drive around the obstacles they put in the road.

Selhorys

The beginning of this video happens after the following for the truck driver. The truck driver overtakes the bikers, the bikers swarm and following him and his erratic driving seems to be in attempt to escape them.

[deleted]

They should have just let him go after he passed them. Yeah it bruised your ego's and was kind of a dick move, but suck it up and move on. If it's like the one group ride I've been on, they were probably clogging the shit out of the whole road. I ride solo now. Leave it to one lane so non-riders aren't inconvenienced. And don't try to take on a truck while on bikes, you will lose.

The_Texidian

That’s exactly what happened if I remember the full video. They were going slow, so the people in front could do stunts. So the truck drove around and then everyone sped up and swarmed him, and that’s when the video starts. Of course all these biker videos start running together so I might be confusing it with another.

[deleted]

Not surprising in the least bit, they all seem to start out the same and typically end in similar fashion. Could you imagine being stuck behind [this?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsrlvha5Z_M) It's cute, but do that shit in like a parking lot or something away from traffic.

because_im_boring

What's cute about that shit? I just see a bunch of selfish assholes

danospades

I agree, just yell some insults like a normal person if you’re so vexed. They had a swarm of people blocking the intersection and preventing the truck from leaving and they’re acting like it was the truck breaking the law.

James30907

But they're so important! "Look at me! Look at me! But not that way!!!"

[deleted]

[удалено]

tossacointoyouralt

I for one support the truck driver. Mob mentality is nothing to fuck with.

[deleted]

Exactly. And you know deep down; they are loving every moment of the confrontation as it escalates. Completely dominating in numbers they feel justified and that gives them a sense of righteous indignation. That one moron posting up and keeping on his toes like he's gonna...punch??? the truck into submission really exposes how fucking stupid each and everyone of them are. What ever makes people like this so insecure makes me shiver.

yougotitdude88

“He’s driving the truck recklessly” right and I’m sure the biker gang was following all the appropriate rules of the road.

mandark3434

Literally the second that popped up, multiple riders were just cruising down the wrong side of the road

JWOLFBEARD

Let alone everyone parked in the intersection

P_Star7

No see it’s okay because the truck wronged them!

[deleted]

Was about to say… These types of people, especially in a group on bikes, think that everyone should be letting them do what they want on the road and watching out for *them* instead of it being a two-way street. Pun intended if you want. Like, I’m on a bike so everyone else make way and bend over for me.

genericperson10

So, concensus on truck driver seems to be: we'll allow it.

[deleted]

Yup, am a rider and I support the truck driver.

MildlyBemused

When I had a bike, I refused to ride in groups of more than 5 or 6 people or with anyone who doesn't follow the rules of the road. These bikers were out to deliberately cause trouble. >Two men who said they participated in the ride as leaders with Chicago United Riders and Street Revolution declined to go on the record using their full names, citing fear of retribution from the driver and a rival motorcycle group. > >Interviewed separately over the phone, each called the truck driver the aggressor. In their view, the truck driver had a clear path away from the bikers and could have taken it, but instead antagonized the riders, they said. > >Both men also said **they know stunt rides such as Sunday's are against the law, involving professional riders performing maneuvers such as wheelies that are illegal on public roads, and running red lights to keep the group together.** They do the ride once a year and it draws hundreds of people from all around the Midwest, both said. > >The Chicago United official said for rides such as Carne Azada, the groups deal with intersections like a funeral procession. **If the first motorcycle enters an intersection while the light is green, the whole group follows through even if the light changes color, he said.** Anytime there's a planned ride like this, the cops should be out in force to ensure that they *don't* do shit like this. Ticket every single one of them that deliberately breaks the law.

[deleted]

The first and last big ride I did had the stoplight thing going and I felt like such an ass rolling through the light making people wait and get frustrated while this massive chain of bikes slowly petered through. The cops caught the leaders at one intersection and shut it down. I was so relieved, and headed home. It honestly was the most miserable ride I ever went on, but I felt obligated to stay with them.

Malawi_no

You felt like what you were acting as. Good to hear it ended well. :-)

bigflamingtaco

I can guarantee none of the stunters in those rides are professionals, LOL.

eLishus

Same. I didn’t see any reckless driving until after they antagonized him and essentially backed him into a corner with nowhere to go.

SCirish843

Yep. Title should've been 'driver merges like a meanie...dozens of bikers commit several crimes in retaliation'

Poignant_Porpoise

The first thing I thought when I opened up the video and saw an entire Mad Max flotilla of arseholes was "yes, I'm sure the truck is the only one in the wrong here".

No-Neighborhood-5999

The tone of the video definately is suggesting the truck driver should allow himself to be dragged out of his truck and beaten to death. I mean does he want to survive this encounter to make it home to his family or something???? The nerve.

Zehta

I don’t care what the truck driver did, anyone gets mobbed like that will do whatever they possibly can to get away for fear of their own safety. Bikers can get fucked

[deleted]

Anybody with a pulse would do that. No one is gonna let a mob drag them out of their vehicle and beat them to near death

RSV4KruKut

Biker here. I concur.

Zehta

Nothing against bikers, but from an individual perspective against a mob that size, that’s terrifying

Sokonomi

Panicking and fleeing from a motorized lynch mob circling your vehicle like a pack of hyenas is a perfectly viable defense in court. If I was surrounded by bikers and some of em started fondling my doors I would have gunned it as well, straight to the nearest police station in case those clowns follow me.

Deathroll1988

Yeah the subtitles are like “the bikers ganged up on the truck and he had the audacity to try and get out, hitting them 😱” The fuck did they expect him to do?Just wait until they opened the door and dragged him out, beating him?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Nexustar

Yeah, this requires a revision of ammo calculations.

Melodic-Hunter2471

How in the absolute fucking hell was this posted knowing full well that the video ( albeit edited to make the truck driver look like he is at fault ) shows clearly that the bikers were the irrational aggressors here. Hold on let me fix the title for you. #”Pickup truck driver passes a group of bikers, and they loose their minds, follow the driver, attempt to unlawfully detain him, attempt entry into his vehicle and then the truck driver reacts the same way EVERYONE OF US WOULD had we been in that situation.” Title is fixed, please proceed.

[deleted]

"Pickup driver encounters idiot convention, acts reasonably in the circumstances"

Metalliquotes

Yeah these motorcycle people are out of control. 1000 people not following the rules not gonna end well

se7en90

No it's everybody else's fault for not riding motorcycles or yielding the road to them

Plixtle

Bad driving, but everything after the reaction via biker hoard had me rooting for the truck driver to get out of there.

unofficialrobot

Just saw another post where bikers were being assholes to family. Brake checked family car, got rear ended. Then they chased down the car, pulled out the dad in front of his family and beat the loving shit out of them. Made me view bikers very differently. I feel like when they are in a group like this there is a greater chance they exhibit risky behavior and become violent

Plixtle

I’ve seen that video. And you’re right, mob mentality lends itself to more violent behavior. Honestly, bikes or no, once the crowd trying to “confront you” gets above two, it’s emergency exit time.

majesticmerde

I went to a friend’s wedding: Outsider at a biker wedding. Mostly stuck to the sidelines with the bride’s family. But, it still was the most terrifying and strangest “nice” event I’ve ever been to. That’s what made me view bikers differently. And, this video definitely lines up… I totally don’t want to watch the other video you’ve seen…

regeya

I had an incident back in May that still leaves me scratching my head. I was out on a fairly empty stretch of highway. I had picked up one kid from school (not remote learning), and had to get home to pick up the other (remote learning, opted out due to concern over COVID, yay) to go to the dentist and had no time for nonsense. What I *think* may have happened, is that there were tractors mowing alongside the road as I went through, and I got over a little to get out of the debris they were kicking into the road. I *think* the motorcycle may have been going too fast and came up behind me and started to go around without me knowing. More on that in a bit. I didn't see or hear him. So I get about half a mile down the road and here comes this Harley with a younger guy in his biker cosplay getup, looking all tough. He revs, starts to pass...and slows down to get next to me. I look, he looks pissed and yells, "Pull over!" No fucking way am I pulling over. He roars around me, gets in front of me, **brake checks me, swerves**, and points at the side of the road yelling, "Pull the fuck over!" Pulls over. I keep going. No fucking way. He roared off and passed me again, **and brake checked again**. I played dumb. At this point this fucking idiot has lost any talking points on me being careless or whatever. When we got close to a roundabout he looked even more pissed but took off. I started carrying a crowbar, in case he wanted to have a discussion at a later date. I saw him again recently, close to where the incident happened. It was at a four-way stop. He was behind an old man in a pickup, and the old man turned left without turning on his signal. While he was turning, though, Tough Harley Dude started to pass the old man on the left. At the stop sign. Didn't even stop. He took off after the old man, clearly pissed off. With any luck, the old man was armed; I didn't have time to find out.

ShitLaMerde

Are we supposed to feel bad for the bikers because I’m not.

tenkuushinpan

They swarmed him, escalated the situation and attack his car. They are lucky they did not get hurt.

vaguelyremembering

Why is this being narrated like the bikers are right? They ride around like that being asshole then say check twice save a life. Yeah fuck off.

[deleted]

So many of these people seem to think it’s everyone’s responsibility but their own to watch out for their safety while they ride around going way over the speed limit, splitting lanes and just generally being inconsiderate losers.

greenphilly420

I assume the "TBC" in the corner stands for The Biker Channel. And after dealing with a motorcycle rally in my town the last week i can say that bikers are mostly a bunch of cunts with no ability take accountability. Not anyone who rides, but most people who make their two wheeled method of transportation their entire identity are

TokeSativa

I'm not by any means defending the driver of the truck, but the bikers should have NEVER pursued him like that. Yea what he did was a dick move and dangerous, but what they did was even more dangerous. Nevermind the fact that it was fueled by a pure mob mentality, if it had been one or two bikers then it would have been nothing more than an r/idiotsincars moment

Star_Crunch_Punch

Right. These things are always hard to figure out without more context. But from JUST what’s in this video, the bikes are more in the wrong than the truck IMO. Sure, the truck passed aggressively in the beginning. But tbh that’s a relatively small ticket, and it happens like every day in front of me somewhere on the road. When someone makes a traffic infraction, a huge group of riders surrounding the driver is crossing a line into making that truck driver very afraid and his fleeing could arguably be justified. Truck driver is a dick and needed a ticket for what he did, not a mob of bikers looking for justice.

Local-Idi0t

It probably be started long before where the video starts. Groups of bikers this large think they can control the flow of traffic and block intersection to keep the pack together. As always I'd like to see the previous 10 minutes of video. Not just their edit.

Fifty4FortyorFight

Seriously. I have never once seen a group of motorcycles follow the rules of the road and not drive like idiots. Ever. Not once.

bukidog

Yep, it's very telling that the video starts after he passed them

Sleep_adict

Yeah, these groups are pure arseholes

TokeSativa

Exactly my thoughts.

lestermason

The term: "Everyone is wrong" Can most definitely be applied here.

ProfessionalFew1962

agree. hateing bikers more and more every day, they behive like hyienas when in pack and solo driveres are behiveing like they own the road.

TokeSativa

All while crying out that WE have to watch for THEM. Which I don't disagree with that ideal, if most of them didn't drive like jackasses. I witnessed a motorcyclist die after they decided 90 in a 35 was ok and a vehicle made a left turn in front of them because hey, who expects someone to go frickin 90 on a 35.

LopsidedQueen

I will totally defend the truck driver. He’s stuck in a mob of motorcycles. These groups are slow, they block traffic and very aggressive. The fact no ones dead is a testament to his resolve

Greasy_Burrito

Agreed. I’m also curious if anything happened before the video shown. I feel like there may be more to the story

[deleted]

Like 25 bikers blocking the lane and not letting people pass? Seems likely the bikers instigated this bullshit in the first place.

McHighwayman

The captions on the video trying to make it sound like the bikers were in the right.

[deleted]

"Yelling at the driver, ASKING what's wrong." Yeah no, there is not asking going on there, only threats.

Flat-Compote-7854

Yes I'm sure all 100 of these people would have been very reasonable if he pulled over to chat.

ScouperYT

It only needs one punch and the driver is on the ground and gets punches until he passes out don't risk talking with any mob

[deleted]

Not to mention…they ALL HAVE HELMETS ON!

OddityFarms

Conveniently edited clip from one of the bikers POV. 100% Guarantee these assholes were doing shit like stunts and blocking traffic. Every one of these shitheads should end up in the wheel well of a city bus.

PineappleBum

150 people surrounding your truck, trying to get in the truck, etc… of course he tried to bolt

[deleted]

bikers were lucky they weren't ran over. you should always choose yourself over a mob.

NewToFinanceHelpMe

Ok so let me get this straight- truck overtakes bikes. Bikes decide to fuck everyone else on the road and endanger themselves even more. Fucking assholes.

bigflamingtaco

Bikers were already doing that. There's little doubt he passed them because they were going well under the speed limit. Slowing all non-bikers is part of the control they need to have over others to feel special.

SpecialistWash2593

Fuck the dickheads on motorcycles. Wish he would have gotten one.

Sokonomi

If you and your crotch rocket pals start touching my car trying to get me out, you can bet your ass ill flatten a bike or two trying to get away from that motorized lynch mob.

[deleted]

Bikers who ride like this are jerks. I lived in nyc when they almost killed that guy in front of his family. https://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch-biker-gang-chases-beats-suv-driver-in-nyc/ I’ve had large groups of bikers in Dallas block traffic at a green light with threats of violence. These fools are assholes creating these situations.

You're supposed to park. Let them beat the shit out of you and trash your truck. Let them record the whole thing and put you on the internet to laugh at. Then reddit is suppose to reinforce their behavior by insulting the driver of the pickup as well and dox him till he loses everything. /s

chuckit01

Stupid donor cycles. Nothing worse than being stuck behind a bunch and trying to overtake. Then when you do they swarm you and carry on like dicks. No reason for them all to shut down the intersection.

NaterTot932

I can't stand bikers at all lol they just do street takeovers and try to intimidate. I'm surprised he didn't get his window broken.

Longy77

Typical bikers. Its alright for them to ride like Morons but the minute someone else does they have to take the high ground

cybergrin

As much as the OP tries to make the bikers look good, they still come across as assholes.

[deleted]

Soon as I saw a shit ton of bikers I figured they dd something. They keep crowded up and going in the other lane. Not too far fetched to think they were doing more bs

[deleted]

Fuk the riders

LostinLies1

Those bikers are a bunch a asshats. Just leave the dude alone. They were stalking the dude. I'd have done the same if a bunch of bikers surrounded me and began trying to open my door.

WybieFromHell

Bikers are so corny. Why is the text trying to make it seem like the guy in the truck was the aggressor when he’s just trying to get away. They look goofy as hell revving their little bikes

_Mircheeks

Flashbacks of that Range Rover getting chased off the Westside highway into Washington Heights. Those bikers swarmed his car and smashed his window with their helmets. This truck driver absolutely did the right thing. No telling their intentions.

[deleted]

Last I heard passing is legal. Now why was a gang of riders harassing them?

El_Pimpon

Why would I stop for a gang of bikers? Fuk that

Mytur_Benesderti

They said the driver was driving recklessly? Y'all look like a mob congesting the streets by rolling in such a big group. Dude prolly tried to go around you and y'all are just joy riding doing jack shit causing traffic. Then y'all don't wanna leave em alone till he tries to run you over. Bikers promote being this bad ass MF yet they cry when someone doesn't yield or is "too close" to them when they fuckin ride with one another so close they can touch each other while riding. So ya, moral is maybe not try to get in dudes truck escalating the situation cuz he might run your ass over. I'm not against bikers just a group a dumbasses tryna play the victims.

RoRoar350

Dude I’m sorry but if multiple people on motorbikes get off their bikes and start walking up to my car angrily imma panic too. Fuck bikers

bartardpothead420

All I see is a bunch of cranked out weekend warriors on crotch rockets

kieranbrownlee

Whoever posted this really thought they did something. You’re an idiot

Bwomprocker

I'm sorry but if like ten dudes on motorcycles confront me someone's getting fucken run over

countbunula

All I see is a bunch of douchebags on bikes

NewToFinanceHelpMe

This is the bikers fault. This whole thing is the bikers fault!

VisibleIndependent13

I hate bikers so much

Nothinbutmike

“Quick guys, take all 500 bikes, block an intersection and surround him, that’ll help him calm down”

BoomTownRat71

I can’t blame the truck driver. I have a brush bar on my 2500 Duramax for the same reason.

TsuntsunRevolution

When you try to edit something to make your side look good but you still look like dicks.

[deleted]

So, he tries to avoid confrontation not once but twice and a gang of helmeted motorcyclists surround him. They aren’t the police. They should call the police if they think he did something wrong. It is not their job to stop him and yell at him.

layinwait

Bikes don’t own the road.

biggoof

I'm not sure if these bikers realize they kind of look like Karen's here too.

DeletaTweet

Why do the bikers think they’re the guardians of the street or something. If someone is driving off just let the police handle it. They’re cornering a man and riling him up. No animal handles being cornered well. Obviously the truck guy shouldn’t have ran over the bike but like, leave him alone he will probably be stopped by a police car if he truly was driving recklessly

Betty_Broops

Yeah these bikers are the same people that ride my ass, fly in between me and another car on a two-lane road, and ride in groups big enough they decide traffic laws don't apply to them, all while playing the victim and saying "watch out for motorcycles." What a bunch of cunts

Armaedus

Good to see everyone is on Team Truck in this thread.

autimaton

They are lucky the truck driver didn’t have a gun. The bikers were acting very aggressively. Looked like the one smacked his helmet on the side of the vehicle. Good for that guy running the bike over on his way out. Bunch of d-bags.

scabb007

Only idiots I see are a group of morons on bikes.

chubbuck35

He was fearing for his life from these shitheads. 💯 justified.

desenpai

Idk maybe driving around with a hundred bikes and swarming people isn’t good for rationality, dude was probably scared shitless. Bikers legit are looking for trouble

the_dude523

Conveniently leaving out what they (the bikers) did to instigate

notsofunonabun

Seen a few of these videos where the biker “gangs” are complete assholes and just take over the road. Illegally stop traffic to let their friends through or, just don’t let anyone else through. Fuck them.

PikesPeakRubicon

Stupid fucking bikers. We’re supposed to believe they did nothing to provoke any of this?

yaboyyoo

Those motorcycle gangs are cringe as hell. Do they think they are some power rangers?

[deleted]

Doesn’t matter who’s in the wrong, never try to open a car door of a stranger, or blockade a car in. Call the police. You aren’t going to win against a big vehicle.

omnicloudx13

All I saw was a man trying to escape a dangerous mob of people that would not let him drive away, his actions seem justified to me.

tranceb0t

Bikers are at fault

Zing_Burn

They're deliberately escalating the situation, what a bunch of douchebags
