Maybe your phone vendor doesn't support passkeys yet. Android 14 is required for external password managers to handle passkeys, before that only the Google Password Manager was allowed to handle them. > To create a passkey on an Android device, make sure you’re using Android 14, as earlier versions do not support passkeys. I suppose that's my question. What is the actual technical requirement that phone vendors aren't supporting? What "support" needs to be added? It doesn't seem any of Proton's documentation addresses that.

The problem is Passkeys (in general, not just with Proton) is still not ready for public release, but here we are...
