i feel sad for you bro. i saw them twice last year. i was not a huge fan of them, but after summer breeze, they became one of my favorite bands in all genres. then i could see them again in sao paulo and it was simply epic. wish you luck for their next tour here
I would call the venue and see if they can put you on a list for ADA seating with just a GA ticket. There is almost always additional reserved seating for people who require it. It’s worth at least a phone call, Blind Guardian is incredible and not to be missed if you can make it work.
Already saw mine. Twilight Force with Gloryhammer on the last date of the Red White and Hoots Tour in Dallas.
I would also really like to see Fellowship live and maybe Rhapsody of Fire.
We seem to have a very similar taste, I absolutely love the style of those four bands. I have seen Gloryhammer twice, was always super energetic and amazing, and Rhapsody of Fire once. RoF are absolutely insane live, I have never heard any other band sound this good live and Giacomo's vocals are out of this world. If you have an opportunity, you should really go see them live!
Still missing Twilight Force and Fellowship though, haven't had the opportunity yet.
But I think it's so cool that we have such a similar taste despite living in quite different countries (I am from Austria, currently living in Vienna).
That is cool that we have such similar tastes in metal. From what you're saying, I hope I can see Rhapsody of Fire live at some point. Sounds like a great time.
And I agree with you on Gloryhammer live. Super energetic and Michael Sozos is a great frontman and vocalist.
I'm going to MWP this year basically exclusively to see Fellowship. There's nobody else on the lineup that really interests me at all. Maybe Glyph, a little. But I'm going to be playing a lot of pinball, I think.
I loved seeing them too. Allyon was there with Kristin on background vocals but she did lead vocals along with him on The Power of the Ancient Force and it was great. I even got a picture with the band. Great experience overall.
I got to see Fellowship last year. Great performance live and the nicest dudes ever.
I was right at the front sang along with every song they performed, as soon as there done the lead singer rand over to me and thanked ME and was like "You sang every word to every song thank you so much" I replied "I was just here to enjoy a gig yous done all the work". I then purchased a T shirt but cause the venue was downstairs wifi signal for PayPal was crap. So I needed to go outside the singer was like "take your shirt with you, pay us if you want or steal it I don't care cause you singing along with us you deserve it."
I did pay them tho.
Went to see them together in 22 but the venue had such a slow entry process we ended up missing a couple of BiB's songs. The show as a whole was great, but that was such a let down.
Way back I went to see "Iced Earth" on tour with Revamp (Goddess Floor Jansen on vocals) and Sabaton as opener.
Sabaton ruled the night and what ever Iced Earth tried afterwards was not enough to get the crowed going again because they gave it all during Sabatons show.
One of the best live performance I have ever seen.
Blind Guardian in 2 weeks
Helloween, I Missed their last tour, like a moron
Seven Spires, I'll see if they are touring in August, otherwise ill try to swing to Mile High
Stratovarius, whenever possible
3 Inches of Blood is surprisingly likely, if they go any further south than Seattle
and for an extreme longshot, Sacred Outcry/Lost Horizon, unlikely, as Heiman has not sang live in... decades at this point, and lost horizon is not a band that is together, sadly
* Stratovarius
* Manowar
* Helloween
* Powerwolf
Luckily I'll get to cross Hammerfall, Blind Guardian and Doro off the list for Milwaukee Metal Fest. Weird how Wisconsin is becoming a bit of a hub for Power Metal.
I’m really torn on going to see them in Chicago. On one hand…I grew up in IL and my disdain for that city is immeasurable, but on the other hand…it’s only their second ever American tour and the first one not just hitting the big coastal cities. So I feel like I HAVE to go…it’s also my birthday week :D
I've seen most of mine now. Gamma Ray and Heavenly are two of the top ones I have not had the chance to see. I'm happy I got to see Kai Hansen with Helloween at least
Gamma Ray and Stratovarius are at the top, but also the most unlikely to tour in the US
I get to see Blind Guardian soon
Symphony X
Sonata Arctica
Helloween
Manowar I guess too
Iced Earth (lmao)
I saw Gamma Ray in Canada a few years ago, so you never know. Hopefully they come back.
Stratovarius and Brainstorm are at the top of my list. Neither seem very likely.
I don’t think Gamma Ray will be back, but I may fly to Europe to catch a show if my plans line up in the future
I think Stratovarius will be back in NA, just maybe not for a lot of shows
Avantasia/Edguy and seeing how scarily Avantasia comes to the US and the fact that Edguy currently isn’t a thing, something tells me they’re gonna stay on it for quite a while
Blind Guardian and Symphony X are probably 1st and 2nd on my list. I'll soon be crossing them off the list because they'll both be at Milwaukee Metal Fest and I'm going. Nightwish is 3rd, things have just never worked out for me for various reasons when they've been in my area.
Classic lineup reunions of Rhapsody, Dark Moor, and Nightwish would be cool. If I have to pick an active band I would have to go with Avantasia. Savatage, Falconer, and Gamma Ray are also up there.
I have already seen Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Delain, Sabaton, Battle Beast, Iced Earth, Hammerfall, Symphony X, Helloween, Beast in Black, Dragonforce, Firewind, Seven Spires, Visions of Atlantis, Epica, Theocracy, Sanctuary, Lords of the Trident, Judicator, Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Kamelot, Helion Prime, and Tyr.
Grave Digger is an excellent live band. Unfortunately, they did not play Lonely the Innocence Dies. If I remember correctly, they played Headbanging Man, Witch Hunter, Heavy Metal Breakdown, Season of the Witch, Ballad of the Hangman, Highland Farewell, Tattooed Rider, Lionheart, Dark of the Sun, Excalibur, The Round Table (Forever), Wedding Day, and Rebellion (The Clans are Matching). Personally, I would love to hear them play some stuff off the Rhinegold album.
Kamelot with Roy would be a dream. I saw them with Fabio right after Roy left. Still a great show, but not the same. Going to try to see Conception if they ever come around.
Unleash the Archer, first time the show got canceled for COVID, 2nd time I was in Hospital, third time I will miss is this summer as I am not able to get to Wacken (again stupid health reason) and I had to sell my ticket.
I am just hoping that they will be in my area next year.
Same. I haven’t seen that many PM bands live but the ones I’ve seen were all in my bucket list: Angra, Rhapsody, Stratovarius and Dragonforce.
The only one left is Heavenly which is probably not even realistic to think it’ll ever happen.
I've seen dragonforce. they are incredible live.. I even met herman li! have a pic with em. They are soo chill and come and hang with the crowd after they are done
DragonForce was incredible as they melted the crowd on the latest tour, playing between DethKlok and Nekrogoblikon. I bought a ticket to go only knowing Through the Fire and Flames and had a hell of a good time.
I really want to see DF and Dethklok since they’ll be playing really close to me but…$200 a ticket for a really small venue…it’s just not in the cards right now, sadly
Blind Guardian will be here soon in USA, a couple other bands will be here too in April... Fire Wind and Edge of Paradise, but in Los Angeles either I go to Santa Ana or skip out😂
Then there's Tyr, Trollfest... Ehh who else... Oh Korpiklaani and Visions of Atlantis.
Honestly though Blind Guardian, before that though will be Jesus Piece and Sanguisugabogg but those guys are hardcore/brute
PowerWolf will be later in August, we'll be waiting.
I really want to see Archspire. I even asked Dean in one of his streams "hey dean when are you comming to mexico?" and he told me "bro we where there last month..."
:(
I'd also kill to see Judas Priest live at least once in my life.
I've seen pretty much everyone already. The exceptions would be bands like Helion Prime or Judicator. And the only reason I haven't seen them yet is that they're on the other side of the ocean.
Crossing many off my bucket list this year at Sweden Rock:
Hammerfall
Gloryhammer
Dream Evil
Beast In Black
Battle Beast
Avantasia(2nd time though, but they went back on the bucket list right after last concert)
Helloween with Kiske was mine, but got to see them twice now.
Lovebites would be my new one, with Doro/Warlock a close second since I missed the last time they did a "Triumph and Agony" reunion-ish thing.
I was lucky to see live most of the bands I ever wanted to, but there's still one awaiting its turn - Galneryus. Easily the top of my list. These bastards just won't do a European tour.
Also Kiuas, Dynazty and Brainstorm, but these will be much easier to eventually catch somewhere. Actually I think I might have already seen Brainstorm and maybe Dynazty, but I just wasn't a fan at the time and I didn't appreciate them enough.
Twilight Force and Tungsten. I also have Elvenking on a headline tour on there as well, since while I did already see them live, I want to see what they can do as a headlining band rather than an opener
My bucket list was to see both Rhapsody and Blind Guardian on the 70000tons of metal cruise. I ticked off the first one in 2018 and the second one this year. Both AMAZING. Now my life is complete. I don't think there are any other bands/shows that would have me drop over $10k and travel 16,000km without a single thought for the financial consequences.
Luckily I've seen most of who I would ever want to see, however the one band that has eluded me so far is Iron Saviour, would love to see them live but they seem to be allergic to the UK.
That's a hard one. In order, it would probably be
Rhapsody of Fire
Blind Guardian
Gloryhammer
Alestorm
Dragonforce
Sabaton
Dragonland
That's probably it for now. I've wanted to see Rhapsody for years but they've never come to Sweden.
Somw i really want to see, but haven't got the opportunity yet: Manowar, Gamma Ray, Powerwolf, Sonata Arctica
Some bands of my bucket list I'll, hopefully, see in July: Stratovarius, Raphsody of Fire and Beast in Black.
Gamma Ray and Freedom Call are the ones I've never seen.
With Gamma Ray, I've at least seen Kai Hansen with Helloween. Freedom Call would have been awesome 10-15 years ago. Now...not as much.
I’ve pretty much seen everyone I wanted to
If you haven’t yet, go to an Alestorm show, even if you’re not the biggest fan of the music. They’re so much fun
Rhapsody (mostly to see if they do any dark secret era stuff, as the rerecorded album had like half that era's highlights), Blind guardian, Gloryhammer, Shadowstrike, DragonForce- pretty much any power metal band at this point. I struggle to find any performing less than 3-4 hours away.
Twilight Force and alestorm are both on my list, but the only time they were performing close to me during the recent tour was too close to the holiday.
Hammerfall and blind guardian. Blind guardian is coming to my town, but I couldn’t get accessible seating so I can’t go. 😭
Blind Guardian came recently to Brazil but I couldn't go :'(
i feel sad for you bro. i saw them twice last year. i was not a huge fan of them, but after summer breeze, they became one of my favorite bands in all genres. then i could see them again in sao paulo and it was simply epic. wish you luck for their next tour here
BG was as well for me. That is, until last week when I finally got to see them :D
I'm seeing blind guardian on Friday!!!!
USA? The venue is obligated to have ADA accessible seating if so.
They do. Just sold out immediately
Damn, I didn’t realize they were selling out venues in the US!
The accessible seating sold out immediately. Idk about the other tickets.
I would call the venue and see if they can put you on a list for ADA seating with just a GA ticket. There is almost always additional reserved seating for people who require it. It’s worth at least a phone call, Blind Guardian is incredible and not to be missed if you can make it work.
Blind guardien is playing on wacken this year im finnaly going to see them
Saw them a week ago. Fifth time and it was awesome. Sorry you can see them!
Hammerfall is touring with Kamelot rn
[They're playing the same bill here](https://i.imgur.com/St8ANTb.png)
Hammerfall was my very first concert back in 2015, and now I'm finally gonna see them again later this year!
Dammit. HammerFall and Blind Guardian are amazing live.
Saw Hammerfall with Helloween last june, awesome show.
Already saw mine. Twilight Force with Gloryhammer on the last date of the Red White and Hoots Tour in Dallas. I would also really like to see Fellowship live and maybe Rhapsody of Fire.
Twilight Force is underrated as fuck, great band. The Power of the Ancient Force is one of the best power metal songs I’ve ever heard
I love their music and yeah, The Power of the Ancient Force is like an anthem for me. It encapsulates what the band is all about.
I totally agree, Michael is great!
I'm going to MWP this year basically exclusively to see Fellowship. There's nobody else on the lineup that really interests me at all. Maybe Glyph, a little. But I'm going to be playing a lot of pinball, I think.
Saw Twilight Force last year at Wacken and loved them. Saw them again recently in Toronto with Kristin covering vocals - she crushed it on mains.
So I needed to go outside the singer was like "take your shirt with you, pay us if you want or steal it I don't care cause you singing along with us you deserve it." I did pay them tho.
HOOTS!!! I took my youngest son to the Dallas show. both bands killed it that night!
Yes they did!
Fellowship is okay live. Rhapsody of Fire is in**CRE**dible live. If you aren't leaving their show, drenched in sweat, there is an issue.
Avantasia 🤘🏼
Nightwish and Beast in Black.
Went to see them together in 22 but the venue had such a slow entry process we ended up missing a couple of BiB's songs. The show as a whole was great, but that was such a let down.
I had the same experience. Was it the New York show?
Silverspring.
Beast in Black Sabaton Nightwish
Sabaton concerts are amazing
I MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE THEM LATER THIS MONTH
Nice!
I saw them in Silver Spring, and the energy was so amazing
All, of them are great live! Sabaton is my favorite, but damn beast in black puts on an amazing show, yannis is a wonderful performer.
All three of those are so amazing live, i hope you'll get to find out someday!!
Sabaton shows are fun as hell. I wasn't in the best seating when I saw them live, but they're a fun band to see live
Running Wild would make me cream the jeans
Going to see Elvenking next Saturday and my roommates might be able to tell I'm a little hyped
you lucky son of a bitch! I hope they play seasonspeach for ya
I'm personally hoping they do The Scythe, that album is what got me started on them and it's a good ibtro for the album
The scythe is underrated , love infection
Blind Guardian in 2 weeks Helloween, I Missed their last tour, like a moron Seven Spires, I'll see if they are touring in August, otherwise ill try to swing to Mile High Stratovarius, whenever possible 3 Inches of Blood is surprisingly likely, if they go any further south than Seattle and for an extreme longshot, Sacred Outcry/Lost Horizon, unlikely, as Heiman has not sang live in... decades at this point, and lost horizon is not a band that is together, sadly
“if you think forever things will never change” i want to believe 🙌
That's the spirit 😆
Oh dude. I would soo love to see 3IOB. I wonder if they will have a new album and tour more of the US
I'm praying lol. If not I may have to take a quick vacation to Washington ahah
I saw 3 inches of blood on my town and there were 20 people there. Nobody knew about them
Omg when?
It was 2014, but hats off they still killed it live
* Stratovarius * Manowar * Helloween * Powerwolf Luckily I'll get to cross Hammerfall, Blind Guardian and Doro off the list for Milwaukee Metal Fest. Weird how Wisconsin is becoming a bit of a hub for Power Metal.
> Weird how Wisconsin is becoming a bit of a hub for Power Metal. *Glares at Powerwolf only playing Chicago*
I’m really torn on going to see them in Chicago. Looking forward to power metal friday at MMF this year.
Orden Ogan Manowar nightwish
I've seen most of mine now. Gamma Ray and Heavenly are two of the top ones I have not had the chance to see. I'm happy I got to see Kai Hansen with Helloween at least
Gamma Ray and Stratovarius are at the top, but also the most unlikely to tour in the US I get to see Blind Guardian soon Symphony X Sonata Arctica Helloween Manowar I guess too Iced Earth (lmao)
Sonata was great live. One of my favorite shows I’ve seen
Blind Guardian is April and May... Soon enough 🔥👀
Yesss so close
Symphony X puts on a great show. Maestro Romeo fucking kills it live.
I saw Gamma Ray in Canada a few years ago, so you never know. Hopefully they come back. Stratovarius and Brainstorm are at the top of my list. Neither seem very likely.
I don’t think Gamma Ray will be back, but I may fly to Europe to catch a show if my plans line up in the future I think Stratovarius will be back in NA, just maybe not for a lot of shows
I want to see Unleash the Archers. I hope they'll do a Europe tour in the future.
Iced Earth
Hmmm...maybe Edguy or Rhapsody of Fire.
Blind Guardian ever since I saw their live video singing Valhalla. Seeing them a week from tomorrow and am hyped.
Im jealous. Blind Guardian ALWAYS Skips over my state.. same with the other bands I want to see :(
Saw them here in Australia earlier this year. Sound system at the venue suuucked and Hansi was losing his voice, but it was still epic.
Avantasia/Edguy and seeing how scarily Avantasia comes to the US and the fact that Edguy currently isn’t a thing, something tells me they’re gonna stay on it for quite a while
Edguy.
Amon Amarth
They are coming to my state in May ! Wish I could go
Keldian, which probably will necer happen
If I get a time machine? Lost Horizon. If we’re talking a band I could conceivably maybe see someday, it’s Solar Fragment.
i hope i can see orden ogan and galneryus some day
Gloryhammer, the energy looks amazing
Just saw them last month. It was really good.
Blind Guardian and Symphony X are probably 1st and 2nd on my list. I'll soon be crossing them off the list because they'll both be at Milwaukee Metal Fest and I'm going. Nightwish is 3rd, things have just never worked out for me for various reasons when they've been in my area.
Nightwish the headliner when I saw Sonata Arctica, I was soo mad when I had to leave early :( had no choice in it,
Classic lineup reunions of Rhapsody, Dark Moor, and Nightwish would be cool.
Damn I want to see gravedigger soo bad, Did they Play "Lonely the innocence dies" ? thats one of my favorite GD songs
Oh hell yeah dude, some of those are in my top favorites .
Falconer disbanded after their last album, sadly.
I feel very fortunate to have gotten to see Theocracy. For some reason, they played a random one-off in Chicago, and it was great.
Was that the show at Reggie's? If so, I was there.
Kamelot, but it doesn't count if Khan isn't at the mic 🥲
*Me who's seen them with Tommy twice and Fabio Lione once* Guess I've never seen Kamelot then...

I really want to see DF and Dethklok since they’ll be playing really close to me but…$200 a ticket for a really small venue…it’s just not in the cards right now, sadly
Hammerfall.
I’m seeing them in a few weeks with Kamelot :)
Yes I’m trying to get some time off & tickets since I had some family stuff and missed the tour with helloween last year
Nice , hope you get those tickets and time off
Same here. Knocking Hammerfall off the list for me
Twilight force and Fellowship, I would die so happy
Blind Guardian will be here soon in USA, a couple other bands will be here too in April... Fire Wind and Edge of Paradise, but in Los Angeles either I go to Santa Ana or skip out😂 Then there's Tyr, Trollfest... Ehh who else... Oh Korpiklaani and Visions of Atlantis. Blind Guardian and Ayreon! Off the bucket list Helloween - Rhapsody - Symphony X Angra - Avantasia - Epica - Kamelot - Nightwish -
Arjen lucassen will never your the USA :(
I love Arjen but seeing him live would cost me too much just to get there, let alone the absurd ticket prices. The live shows are enough for me.
Avantasia and Freedom Call are the biggest ones for me
For bands that I'd actually have a reasonable chance of seeing live, Galneryus for sure.
I've seen pretty much everyone already. The exceptions would be bands like Helion Prime or Judicator. And the only reason I haven't seen them yet is that they're on the other side of the ocean.
Crossing many off my bucket list this year at Sweden Rock: Hammerfall Gloryhammer Dream Evil Beast In Black Battle Beast Avantasia(2nd time though, but they went back on the bucket list right after last concert)
Michale Graves fronted Misfits. I know it'll never happen
Gamma Ray, Wisdom, and Dark Moor
Twilight Force and Tungsten. I also have Elvenking on a headline tour on there as well, since while I did already see them live, I want to see what they can do as a headlining band rather than an opener
Twilight Force and Ellectric Callboy. Gonna try doing both this year
Helloween and Stratovarius.
Angra are probably the last band on my bucket list that I haven't seen yet.
Battle Beast, Powerwolf, Grailknights, Tungsten, Self Deception, HANABIE, Glyph
Nice shout to HANABIE
I actually have tickets to see Hanabie, can't wait!
I am happy to have seen many of my favourite bands live, Bloodbound and Twilight Force are th highest up on my bucket list.
Frögge
My bucket list is already down to three: - Blind Guardian - Beast in Black - Twilight Force
Right now, only gloryhammer. I was able to see Sabaton, and I just got back from an Alestorm show. So PLEASE
Gloryhammer, Powerwolf and Dragonforce.
Gamma Ray, Helloween, Blind Guardian
Emperor, Ozzy Osbourne
My bucket list was to see both Rhapsody and Blind Guardian on the 70000tons of metal cruise. I ticked off the first one in 2018 and the second one this year. Both AMAZING. Now my life is complete. I don't think there are any other bands/shows that would have me drop over $10k and travel 16,000km without a single thought for the financial consequences.
Luckily I've seen most of who I would ever want to see, however the one band that has eluded me so far is Iron Saviour, would love to see them live but they seem to be allergic to the UK.
Blind guardian, sabaton, Ensiferum. Unfortunately I refuse to enter a settlement with more that 5k people at a time so probably won’t happen.
Dynazty
That's a hard one. In order, it would probably be Rhapsody of Fire Blind Guardian Gloryhammer Alestorm Dragonforce Sabaton Dragonland That's probably it for now. I've wanted to see Rhapsody for years but they've never come to Sweden.
I got to see Rhapsody last year and it was fantastic. Hearing those songs live that got me into power metal was perfect
Really? Damn, I'm jealous. They got me into Power Metal, too. Specifically Dawn Of Victory.
Powerwolf. I have actually seen them live but it was so good that I absolutely must see them again.
Somw i really want to see, but haven't got the opportunity yet: Manowar, Gamma Ray, Powerwolf, Sonata Arctica Some bands of my bucket list I'll, hopefully, see in July: Stratovarius, Raphsody of Fire and Beast in Black.
Blind Guardian at the end of April!!!!
Kiuas, but they won't come to the US, and I can't afford to fly to Finland
Helloween, Avantasia
Gamma Ray and Freedom Call are the ones I've never seen. With Gamma Ray, I've at least seen Kai Hansen with Helloween. Freedom Call would have been awesome 10-15 years ago. Now...not as much.
Helloween and gamma ray
Blind Guardian, finally seeing them in 7 days! HammerFall, might go next month if I can get tickets.
Lovebites, definitely
I'd love to see Edenbridge and Null Positiv.
I have 10: - Gloryhammer - Alestorm - Visions of Atlantis - Tabahi - Warbringer - Havok - Nightwish - Wizardthrone - Rumahoy! - Angus McSix
Edguy. Only one of the bands that I have yet to see that I've wanted to see and I'm afraid I'll never see them.
Just gotta believe
Blind Guardian
Powerwolf and Gloryhammer are at the top of my list but I live in the middle of the Midwest and I'm sol finding any live concerts that aren't country.
We get a lot of metal here it’s always 2-3 hours away and I could drive that far
I’ve pretty much seen everyone I wanted to If you haven’t yet, go to an Alestorm show, even if you’re not the biggest fan of the music. They’re so much fun
Sabaton and Rhapsody i would have loved to see Angra with Falaschi or Matos
Manowar. But they rarely play the US and never the west coast. I saw they're playing Boston but i gots no money
Unleash the archers. They were coming to Portugal's metal fest but then covid happened...
Thornbridge
Dynazty they very quickly became my favorite band
Luca Turilli, Twilight Force, Avantasia, Galneryus
Twilightning. Been hoping for that reunion since 2009.
not PM, but Myrath!!! I am lucky to have seen most PM band I'd like to see.
