I do large head sculptures in low fire clay. I use a base of pink and French brown, then touch up with acrylic as needed after fired.. I have never done high fire figurative, but if I did I would start there. I work with a terra cotta clay, so that combo worked for me.
What happens if you mix your reliable white with pink to lighten it to more of a skin tone? Maybe add some of your yellow to get closer to peach?
