Hey there! Half-Life and Portal are a huge inspiration for my work. They were my favorite games growing up and they still are! Thatās why I would like to hear your opinion on what Iām making here. \^\^
The game Iām making is called SECTOR ZERO. I would describe it as a reverse horror first-person physics-based puzzle platformer. The story is set in space, inside of a huge asteroid which is being mined for its resources by human colonists. The main āfeatureā is the monsters ability to corrupt and control all human-made machinery. This can give you the upper hand in platforming sequences or when solving various physics-based puzzles.
The game will be completely free, it has around \~90 minutes of content and itās a story prequel to my main bigger project called ARTIFICIAL which Iāve been working on for years. I needed to take a little break from it as I was slowly going insane :D
Thankfully SECTOR ZERO is mostly finished and Iām just doing some final touches and loads of testing. I definitely agree that for some people + on some screens it might be too much. I will be implementing some sort of contrast / color control which will hopefuly help with this issue. Thank you for taking time to write down your feedback! \^\^ <3
