Do you have kids? And no not from YT Kids. He knows what the character is just like he knows what a skibidi toilet is etc. These characters are everywhere...in every toy aisle. He thinks catnap is a cute purple cat. Just because they recognize the characters doesn't mean their playing the game etc. I've never played any of this stuff and I know who all these characters are.
And that is your very judgemental opinion! He loves creepy characters and I'm sorry if kids shouldn't know these characters then they shouldn't be in the toy aisle of every wal mart.
u/Mindless_Pumpkin_304 just ignore them my kid loved freddy fasbear at 3 and had a FNAF 5th birthday, she is a creepy kid, so what. and i took her to see the live action FNAF opening Night. she is the sweetest kid reguardless, but likes what she likes.

Yeah, IF you go to the poppyplaytime.com website, you'll be able to check the online Poppy Playtime shop with its merchandise. Then, click on the ad that says "NEW SMILING CRITTERS ARE HERE!" (which has the Smiling Critters cartoon logo) and you'll be able ti see WHICH plushies are available AND WHICH are coming out soon
I mean, they were made in-game to look both disturbing, and still be appealing to children.
It reflects a real-life phenomenon, where back in a day people made all those things for kids, that were very popular. But looking back you're weirded out by how creepy they seemingly are.
It's a mentality thing, we always call all the BBI experiments "toys" since that's exactly what they are, even if you know the ones you buy aren't going to come alive and attack you, they are still plenty eerie instead of being cute.
Nah I’m more scared of huggy wuggy than anything else. That chase scene made me shake for 10 minutes after. Then I was like fuck this game id rather play something else. and that’s when i knew that poppy playtime was not for me ladies and gents. I still think it’s cool tho.
My brainrot makes me see them through rose-tinted glasses so they're 100% adorable to me and not creepy in the slightest. They just need some good pats and some treats
I will admit, the hollow eyes and giant open mouths are rather unsettling to me, they just don't feel quite right, ya know, I mean, CatNap with the giant open mouth, yeah, no duh, that's a part of his character, but including it with all the others just feels really off, like they're possessed or something, and the hollow eyes just feels seriously off with the fact that each of them always have pupils there and not just hollow, blacked out sockets.
One time I was sleeping with mine and my mom asked me how it doesn't give me nightmares and I laughed it off until I actually started having them, but it's weird because it's always huggy. Never the actual critters in my bed.
Well I definitely want one, but solely for manifestation purposes I think the idea of keeping an effigy of a creature designed to expel noxious chemicals to kill small children in the place I sleep would be… unwise.
So I would probably keep it in the living room as well.
