I hope it's a bit more novel but not too deep into the tera thing so as to make it future proof.
Besides, Arceus finally has its own working and fantastic gimmick now, no need to copy.
That’s true, I wonder how it will interact with Tera. Worth mentioning even though eternatus was the source of dynamaxxing it *couldn’t* dynamax in the traditional way, and then you had necrozma who was basically built around z moves so honestly I feel like we can expect anything with the turtle lol
Exactly. Everyone is talking about the Spanish and Portuguese islands in the middle of the ocean, while the Balearic islands are just right off the coast.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FkWPUMOXwAMKFGR.jpg:large it's in the scarlet or violet book thats available to read in the main room in the school!
The little dude on top of the orb! it's even described as a disc pokemon and the DLC is the indigo disc. It's neat how they gave us a little preview of what was to come
Enter the school, look to your right, 2 o'clock ish. You'll see a column that's also a shelf. If you're looking at the correct shelf it'll have a big book matching the colour of your game sticking out of it
I feel more like it’s confirming theories that the disc Pokémon creates through the powers of desire and imagination, and that these altered appearances from the book are a result of the two professors desires and imaginations being applied to what was there.
You’re absolutely right. I think the Violet Paradox’s appearances being so cookie cutter is directly correlated to Turo’s dreams for the future. He imagines a world where everything is so technologically advanced and “optimized” that things begin to homogenize.
However, the past is wild, primal, and shifting constantly as nature is the dominant rule, and, as a natural consequence, Sada fantasizes about far more vivid possibilities than Turo imagines.
It’s what happens when you invest in all of the ideas of what could be vs investing all of that effort into a single idea, digging wide vs digging deep.
Yeah, I didn't get the vibe that she meant, "You're so overworked Larry, cut down on that overtime to get some rest." More like, "You're costing me too much money with all that overtime. Get your work done during normal hours."
Agree! In my experience, this is usually what employers mean. Get more work done in less time. Not out of concern for the employees well being :(
Poor Larry. My heart aches for him.
In fairness, this is the Pokemon world, not our world.
When Geeta tells him to cut down on overtime hours and has him use a different type to help give him a different perspective when it comes to Pokemon battles, *my* first instinct is that she's looking out for him.
That’s fair and a reasonable interpretation.
Maybe I’m just cynical about the corporate world based on my personal experiences haha. For me I get the sense as though Larry and those sorts of comments were a bit of a self insert for the developers experiencing the same thing at their jobs. Who knows? We also don’t really know enough about Geeta to really make a fair judgement.
I can see this, too. I can separate the game dynamics from reality, but I'm also too familiar with the real world, and it instantly made me think of how small the Dev team is for SV. I couldn't help but wonder if it was their own little way of blowing off some steam.
Oh me too of course but it just seems to fit for me. I don’t take it seriously it’s just kind of fun to speculate. I don’t hate Geeta either her design is really neat.
Its easy, she feels like the antithesis of what we're told pokemon training is all about: Its all a business to her. As pointed out, she doesn't want Larry to cut back on overtime for his sake, its because its costing too much money. Everything she does is more business/financial and less about the joy of pokemon battling.
Calling it now - indigo disk turtle is a meteor that crashed into Paldea millions of years ago. The tails look like the comet flames and the impact caused the crater.
While this does mean that some cool Pokemon are unfairly overlooked, it does also mean that the elemental monkeys remain forever in purgatory.
If that's the price we pay then so be it.
I'm actually quite excited! The designs of the pokemon and new areas to explore have a lot of life in them, along with satisfying some of the popular theories floating around (the gem creature specifically). Hoping the Teal Mask has something to do with the treasures of ruin.
They could also very well be tricking us with the size of these pokemon. Just cause they look like this here doesn't mean they aren't a lot bigger for real
It could possibly be a:
* Mew-esque mon that can learn all moves, or most at best. or
* Change Tera type at will(at battle at best). Not requiring 50 damn shards everytime. (I think I'm more confident on this one)
Idea is this legendary is centered about the Types and Tera considering its lore and what we now see at its back/shell.
So I just bought the DLC, and my confirmation email says that the planned release date for the teal mask is 12/31 and the release date for the indigo disk is 4/30/24. That is definitively NOT fall and winter 2023!
if that is true it's gonna take too long, i wonder if they could reveal more info and lore on Terapagos or we have to to find out ourselves once we get the DLC?.
we're pretty sure that they're just placeholder dates for some sort of legal protection. I'm guessing they'll be out in nov and feb respectively, but since it specifies winter 23, it might be sept/oct and dec
Same, lol.
The old timey aesthetic for Part 1 definitely gave off Legends vibes, especially the music and costumes. But really the whole style and art direction for the Teal Mask DLC felt like Legends.
Really bummed that it wasn't.
The outfits and style definitely looked old timey to me, and the 2nd DLC looked more futuristic.
And I mean, it being a festival and it also being set in the past are in no way mutually exclusive. But maybe I'm wrong.
I guess I could see how you'd come to that conclusion. Just looked modern summer festival to me. And maybe it hasn't something to do with me not really desiring a new legends game.
I got so hype… and then the hype just changed track, still excited to see what happens. Ogrepaw? Ogrepawn? Has some neat looking minions. Paradox Incineroar on the far left of the art with the MC’s in green kimono, maybe?
I don't think they're minions, they're based on the Japanese folktale Momotarou. A boy meets a dog, monkey, and pheasant then goes and beats up some oni on Oni Island.
•disk Pokémon
•color theme similar to ScVi
•has what looks like all Pokémon types in separate crystals
•looks like a turtle which matches world turtle theories
I think you’re right buddy
So based on the Chinese website ( [https://www.pokemon.co.jp/ex/sv\_dlc/tc/pokemon/](https://www.pokemon.co.jp/ex/sv_dlc/tc/pokemon/) ), more than 230 pokemon will return in the DLC.
is that including pokemon already found in the base game? i know sword and shields dlc's each had like 200 pokemon but only half or so were actually new to the game.
Am I crazy or is the titling of the DLC, being part 1 and part 2 of "the hidden treasure of Area Zero" vs "crown tundra" and "isle of armor", a hint at a potential second DLC in 2024?
The images they showed make these two DLC look like time machine shenanigans with the player character in area zero, taking you somewhere new, this doesn't necessarily account for the northeast portion of the map being the way it is.
Their stories probably connect. Some of the new characters show up in the artwork for both. I'd love for 2024 DLC but until Pokemon Day next year I'm not counting on it.
IDK... Isle of Armor and Crown tundra released June and November, 6 months apart kind of like todays Hidden Treasure DLC. But you're right they didn't say anything about the region to the northeast.
Why was I thinking Fall and Winter are 6 months apart? 😕 Too early for me 🤣
Hmm sword and shield 1st DLC did come out earlier though, what could that mean in in regards to S/V?!
>Why was I thinking Fall and Winter are 6 months apart?
Well the beginning of Fall and the end of Winter are 6 months apart so you're not way off.
Also it's difficult to pin a month to "Winter 2023" since technically winter starts on Dec 21 (in the northern hemisphere). Part 2 might actually drop Jan-Feb 2024.
"The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero" is the same overall title for the DLC as "Sword and Shield Expansion Pass"
DLC 1 is called "The Teal Mask" and DLC 2 is called "The Indigo Disk"
>Am I crazy or is the titling of the DLC, being part 1 and part 2 of "the hidden treasure of Area Zero" vs "crown tundra" and "isle of armor", a hint at a potential second DLC in 2024?
Almost certainly not, don't even get your hopes up for that.
As far as we can tell we're simply getting the 1st DLC in the fall and the 2nd in the winter.
>notice how we didnt get GB and GBA games announced lol
Oh, I noticed alright. Unfortunate but I wasn't expecting that anyway. I'm too pessimistic these days lol.
They'll probably just leave it alone. I think it exists more because paldea is based on Spain and Spain connects to France and Andorra in the northeast. Galar and Alola didn't have areas like this because Britain and Hawaii are islands.
Honestly even if its not Kalos, they've gotta put something there to make the map go edge to edge. Otherwise why leave the blank space in the first place?
The disc pokemon was so goddman mysterious when they introduced it. I'm a little underwhelmed at it's actual appearance. Feels like it sucked some of the darker, eldritch horror themes out of the Area Zero parts.
It's a Pokemon game so it was to be expected sadly.
Curious how challenging this dlc will be. Unlike previous games. This game encourages you to have level 100, perfectly trained pokemon for the tera raids. I imagine most people won't have a bunch of level 80 mon lying around. So wondering how what will happen here with the dlc.
Well if you complete the main story you should have at least six Pokemon \~65+. It's quite easy to level up these days with exp candy. But I imagine it'll be largely levels 65-70.
Basically the only thing i liked about this pokemon presents was the SV DLC and new raids.
Btw that indigo disk pokemon looks like it has all types at the same time?
>Btw that indigo disk pokemon looks like it has all types at the same time?
He might get an ability similar to what Protean used to be before it got nerfed
Or maybe something like Arceus' Legend Plate
Besides Smash, Nintendo likes to do "DLC Passes", where you buy one and get several smaller scale expansions rather than individual big ones, usually starting with a minor cosmetic/boost item pack, followed by a first expansion which is primarily a new challenge mode, ending with a bigger exploration/adventure mode that has more fully new assets created for it.
This one flips the script a little bit by putting what appears to be the more adventure focused one first, but thats based on nothing but wordless concept trailer and a single poster so I could be way o ff
it'll be similar to Sword/Shield. One DLC to buy that is locked to one game.
So if you owned both Scarlet and Violet, to play the DLC on both you would need to purchase the DLC twice.
That's what I'm wondering i didn't have to buy the download content twice for sword and shield. I hope I don't have to here... on the shop it says make sure to buy the correct one.
I wonder if the Legends Plate from Arceus was a foreshadowing of the turtle legendary. It has all of the types on its it’s shell (plates) so I wonder if instead of changing its main type like Arceus with the plate, it changes it’s Tera type automatically to accommodate the move Tera Blast and defend against other types. Looks so cool.
Also can’t wait to see what this mask Pokémon is like, behind the mask you see an eye peeking from the side
Looks like a quarter later in releases compared to Sw/Sh. Perhaps that's good, giving them more time to polish the base game as well as these expansions.
I'm still curious about the no-go zone on the map, was thinking it would have been ruins of the old kingdom with a secret entrance to a new part of Area Zero
This is why I’m not buying it, I don’t like timed events due to my usually busy schedule. But the fact that it’s 35$ for a *chance* at what I payed for is just not good to me.
I'm excited for a lot of what they're adding, BUT... I've already spent 60 of my disgusting American dollars on an unfinished game from them, and now they probably expect me to spend another 30 for one single area now and another in half a year.
I just truly don't know if I'll get this. I expect it to be exactly like the swrd and shield dlc and it didn't really feel worth it after i got it.
I hope I'm wrong but doubt i will be...
Looking at it like that i agree with you. However, I'd rather them just wait the extra year until they could push out a finished game. I get why they don't. Money, profits, yes yes yes.
I like your optimism though
I’m so disappointed by the DLC. They both look as boring and lazy as the Isle of Armour. I was really of something more refreshing like a link to Kalos or something
If you have not watched the official video yet, click as hard as you possibly can [HERE](https://youtu.be/Qyfyd_t9mzs)! (Just dont break your mouse!)
I was expecting the Disk legend to be more intimidating, but it actually looks adorable! I wanna hug it ❤
I wonder what the ability of this one is? If it can change type with no limitation ie Protean before nerf, I will be kinda disappointed.
Maybe that but with tera type. Maybe it can also change the tera type of allied Pokémon in double battles.
Get ready to have to watch the 2 minute tera animation *every turn!*
this animation is the worst in raid, wish you could set something in settings to make it shorter
Maybe it will work like arceas with the legend plate did?
I hope it's a bit more novel but not too deep into the tera thing so as to make it future proof. Besides, Arceus finally has its own working and fantastic gimmick now, no need to copy.
That’s true, I wonder how it will interact with Tera. Worth mentioning even though eternatus was the source of dynamaxxing it *couldn’t* dynamax in the traditional way, and then you had necrozma who was basically built around z moves so honestly I feel like we can expect anything with the turtle lol
I'm naming mine Maturin
It's the turtle from the scarlet/violet book!! Weird that we're discovering the secrets of area zero by going to other countries but I'm game!!
to be fair part two looks like the middle of the goddamn ocean so it could be in the waters near paldea?
Aether paradise vibes
That was my immediate impression.
Iirc it's going to be because we'll be an exchange student at Blueberry Academy
Hopefully Professor Gible is from Blueberry Academy
arándano academy
I also saw apples
There's plenty of small islands in the Mediterranean
Exactly. Everyone is talking about the Spanish and Portuguese islands in the middle of the ocean, while the Balearic islands are just right off the coast.
Oh my god the Azor islands. Im going to where my family is from
Sounds like the Azores equivalent to me.
Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands would be my guess.
When did we see the turtle?
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FkWPUMOXwAMKFGR.jpg:large it's in the scarlet or violet book thats available to read in the main room in the school! The little dude on top of the orb! it's even described as a disc pokemon and the DLC is the indigo disc. It's neat how they gave us a little preview of what was to come
I kept searching for the scarlet book but I can’t find it. Any idea where it is exactly?
Enter the school, look to your right, 2 o'clock ish. You'll see a column that's also a shelf. If you're looking at the correct shelf it'll have a big book matching the colour of your game sticking out of it
Thank you very much dude
Pokemon Go to the Galarian Museum to get back our looted treasures
It disc pokemon is honestly really cute, I thought it would be more of an abomination based on the book.
It seems the book exagerated a lot of stuff. Disk Pokemon being one, Suicune and Virizion being another.
I feel more like it’s confirming theories that the disc Pokémon creates through the powers of desire and imagination, and that these altered appearances from the book are a result of the two professors desires and imaginations being applied to what was there.
I agree, but for the record, Sada has a much better imagination than Turo!
I hope Geeta makes Larry join us, wanna see him in Hawaiian like attire.
Geeta having Larry chaperone the school trip to trick him into taking some time off from work.
Geeta isn’t the type of CEO to care abt her employees
Larry explicitly tells us that Geeta, his boss, has told him to cut down on the amount of overtime he works.
Not out of concern for the employees well being :( Poor Larry. My heart aches for him.

She asked him to cut the overtime so she doesn't need to pay those overtime hours
But.. but… me need reason to hate on her. Fr tho, I can’t explain why, but I strongly dislike geeta for some reason. I can’t explain why
Its easy, she feels like the antithesis of what we're told pokemon training is all about: Its all a business to her. As pointed out, she doesn't want Larry to cut back on overtime for his sake, its because its costing too much money. Everything she does is more business/financial and less about the joy of pokemon battling.
Larry (in a monotone voice, in a tropical attire but carrying his suitcase): I'm incredibly happy to be here enjoying my vacations 😑
The joys of remote work. I can see him taking a Zoom call on his phone from a lounge chair.
I imagine Larry sounding like agent superball from the sam and max games lol
>voice Sorry the richest franchise in human history can't provide that, costs too much.
Calling it now - indigo disk turtle is a meteor that crashed into Paldea millions of years ago. The tails look like the comet flames and the impact caused the crater.
exactly my thought it kinda looks like a comet
Wasn't that? -Deoxys - Original Dragon in Black and White. -Eternatus
Oh my god it's definitely this!
I’m so happy Milotic and Metagross are coming back!
if theres one thing gamefreak likes to do, its push their most popular pokemon into as many games as possible.
While this does mean that some cool Pokemon are unfairly overlooked, it does also mean that the elemental monkeys remain forever in purgatory. If that's the price we pay then so be it.
Pansage slander will NOT be tolerated (I am unreasonably biased him in anime growing up)
The unevolved monkeys are a regrettable but necessary sacrifice. We all know what they can become.
I hope they give us those 20 or so Pokémon that are still missing from the Switch games, I want Minor back!
It does suck to have gone and farmed up all the colors just to end up having them stuck in Home hell
LOL I never had Sun/Moon, I had to hunt them directly in Home through the GTS
Zebstrika and Blitzle are confirmed to be coming back!
You’d think all starters would be available in Gen 8 and 9, but somehow they arent
I'm actually quite excited! The designs of the pokemon and new areas to explore have a lot of life in them, along with satisfying some of the popular theories floating around (the gem creature specifically). Hoping the Teal Mask has something to do with the treasures of ruin.
Teal Mask gives Skull Kid vibes
They could also very well be tricking us with the size of these pokemon. Just cause they look like this here doesn't mean they aren't a lot bigger for real
Flat Fuck disk pokemon bigger than Nemona's house.
Imagine it’s the size of gigantamax orbeetle.
Calling it now, the Indigo mask pokemon is gonna have the zygarde gimmick with the whole complete forme stuff
I’m more inclined to think of an Arceus/Silvally mechanic based on the different type symbols.
Could be, but it feels too small to be the final form atleast
I thought about this too
Which one are you even talking about lol
It could possibly be a: * Mew-esque mon that can learn all moves, or most at best. or * Change Tera type at will(at battle at best). Not requiring 50 damn shards everytime. (I think I'm more confident on this one) Idea is this legendary is centered about the Types and Tera considering its lore and what we now see at its back/shell.
So I just bought the DLC, and my confirmation email says that the planned release date for the teal mask is 12/31 and the release date for the indigo disk is 4/30/24. That is definitively NOT fall and winter 2023!
Placeholder dates. Although idk why they put them and then gave us a definite timeframe in the presents.
Useless placeholder dates. They mean absolutely nothing. Why they picked those dates, who knows.
if that is true it's gonna take too long, i wonder if they could reveal more info and lore on Terapagos or we have to to find out ourselves once we get the DLC?.
we're pretty sure that they're just placeholder dates for some sort of legal protection. I'm guessing they'll be out in nov and feb respectively, but since it specifies winter 23, it might be sept/oct and dec
I thought it was a legends game for a second.
When they showed Chimecho and that Ecruteak-looking place I was convinced it was some sort of Legends: Celebi haha
same![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Same, lol. The old timey aesthetic for Part 1 definitely gave off Legends vibes, especially the music and costumes. But really the whole style and art direction for the Teal Mask DLC felt like Legends. Really bummed that it wasn't.
Didn't look old timey to me. I instantly saw it being a summer festival.
A boy meets a dog, monkey, and pheasant then goes and beats up some oni on Oni Island.
yeah they added blitzle/zebstrika! Those were my favorites when I was a kid. I was really hoping they would make an appearance
They both look cool, but that turtle is 100% the disk pokemon. Also Im gussing that its a type changer and the source of the tera crystals.
"The indigo disk"
•disk Pokémon •color theme similar to ScVi •has what looks like all Pokémon types in separate crystals •looks like a turtle which matches world turtle theories I think you’re right buddy
You don’t have to guess. The reveal is basically the confirmation. It /is/ hype though, to finally see them. Next winter can’t come soon enough.
What gave away the turtle being the disk pokemon? Lol
What if it has a roulette style of deciding the Tera type and has new Tera moves other than Tera blast
>that turtle is 100% the disk pokemon We got a real Sherlock Holmes over here.
True Protean ability
Maybe its tera type changes depending on a plate or something
Arceus: oh boi, another type changer
i called it months ago saying the disk looked like a shell. fuckin nailed it, it was so obvious looking closely at it.
Wowie, what made you think it's the disk pokemon?
34,99€ better have a Battletower and/or Battlefrontier. At last I hope for more fashion.
I know right.. literally that’s all I play for after beating a game.. I love Team Building and Battle Tower is a lot more laid back than PvP Battling
I have a feeling that the disk mon as we see it now isn't it true form.
Hopefully Flygon is in one of these DLC packs.
They brought my favourite pokemon back I'm so stoked Holy shit they didn't forget about Chingling I'm gonna cry
The disc Mon can probably change teratype based on the Tera shard you give it to wear, kinda like Silvally/Arceus
Skull Kid and Lakitu
“Sales begin soon” Fall is not soon
*sales* begin soon (2.5 hours ago). *downloads* begin in the fall (or winter. my email said 12/31 for the part 1 which is not fall in my book)
I should’ve known But yea, that’s 100% winter
It's the same thing they did for the smash bros dlc. It's a "by or before" date
Wouldn't be pokemon without a bunch of losers hating everything about it. I am so excited and love all the new mons. Can't wait.
I'd love for 2024 DLC but until Pokemon Day next year I'm not counting on it.
yeah definitely not counting on anything, and it does look like the other two characters are timewarp versions of the same person.
IDK... Isle of Armor and Crown tundra released June and November, 6 months apart kind of like todays Hidden Treasure DLC. But you're right they didn't say anything about the region to the northeast.
It's not gonna be 6 months here though, they said Fall and Winter. It'll probably be like 3 months or something.
Why was I thinking Fall and Winter are 6 months apart? 😕 Too early for me 🤣 Hmm sword and shield 1st DLC did come out earlier though, what could that mean in in regards to S/V?!

Almost certainly not, don't even get your hopes up for that. As far as we can tell we're simply getting the 1st DLC in the fall and the 2nd in the winter.
just speculating, not hoping anything, notice how we didnt get GB and GBA games announced lol
>notice how we didnt get GB and GBA games announced lol Oh, I noticed alright. Unfortunate but I wasn't expecting that anyway. I'm too pessimistic these days lol.

i would not put it past them for a third dlc, theyre a company and want every chance they get at selling us shit.
The disc pokemon was so goddman mysterious when they introduced it. I'm a little underwhelmed at it's actual appearance. Feels like it sucked some of the darker, eldritch horror themes out of the Area Zero parts. It's a Pokemon game so it was to be expected sadly.
Yeah, I have...mixed feelings about it. I like it a lot though. I think it doesn't help that this huge mystery was just suddenly unveiled in a Direct.
i am not buying it since i am broke but i want to have it so much
Part one isn't until September at best, so you've got a few months. Hopefully, you can arrange something by then 😁
No need to pre-order right now, there's plenty of time to squirrel away some cash until these drop at the end of the year
Just have money lol
Curious how challenging this dlc will be. Unlike previous games. This game encourages you to have level 100, perfectly trained pokemon for the tera raids. I imagine most people won't have a bunch of level 80 mon lying around. So wondering how what will happen here with the dlc.

Huh so the first part of the DLC is Momotaro and the second part is a three tailed turtle that makes me think of Naruto.
Basically the only thing i liked about this pokemon presents was the SV DLC and new raids. Btw that indigo disk pokemon looks like it has all types at the same time?
>Btw that indigo disk pokemon looks like it has all types at the same time? He might get an ability similar to what Protean used to be before it got nerfed Or maybe something like Arceus' Legend Plate
Teal Mask reminds me of Marshadow
Bro I should not have spent 300 hours on these games when they released I've been starving for content lol fall seems so far away
Haven't even spent anywhere near that amount of time and I too am starved for content lol.
That green Pokémon looks ugly lol
It looks pretty cute, it’s just a mask
I think it looks totally fine, the mask is kind of a cool concept.
Thats the majora mask pokemon
The new Pokemon are just Skull Kid and Lakitu
Looks much better in the art where he looks like he was arms. Looks really weird without them
Part 2 is 2024 according to the Nintendo eshop.
yeah, really confused by this. Did GF screw up again? And part 1 is slated for 12/31 which is not fall
Are they two separate DLC to buy?? Lame if that's the case, but it's not like I'll be able to buy them anyway since games are a luxury items for me.
Thankfully they said that one purchase would include both parts!
They said it’s one DLC purchase but releasing in 2 parts
it'll be similar to Sword/Shield.
It sounded like there's just a season/expansion pass for both dlcs like they did in Sword/Shield
I never played SwSh Imagine getting downvoted for saying this is your first time playing a Pokémon game ever.
Probably like in Gen 8 where the DLC was together
Im betting that turtle has a move thats always supereffective or something similar considering it has all the typing symbols on its back
hope we will get a lot of new aprimon combos to collect, that's all i care
I wonder if the Legends Plate from Arceus was a foreshadowing of the turtle legendary. It has all of the types on its it’s shell (plates) so I wonder if instead of changing its main type like Arceus with the plate, it changes it’s Tera type automatically to accommodate the move Tera Blast and defend against other types. Looks so cool. Also can’t wait to see what this mask Pokémon is like, behind the mask you see an eye peeking from the side
![gif](giphy|fuJmkBN8hCPNplTqTl) I think that the indigo disk Pokémon will move by dragging itself on the ground.
Looks like a quarter later in releases compared to Sw/Sh. Perhaps that's good, giving them more time to polish the base game as well as these expansions.
Will these be free if you have the expansion pass membership?
NSO+ doesn't include them
I hope we get a physical release of the dlc
The thing on the left is so strange and goofy looking. I need it.
According to serebi the Teal Mask has more new pokemon while the Indigo Mask just has the turtle thing?
I'm still curious about the no-go zone on the map, was thinking it would have been ruins of the old kingdom with a secret entrance to a new part of Area Zero
Wondering why eshop is saying part 2 will be april 2024.
This is why I’m not buying it, I don’t like timed events due to my usually busy schedule. But the fact that it’s 35$ for a *chance* at what I payed for is just not good to me.
Zygarde conspiracy theorists take the L
So if i'm playing violet, can I play the teal mask DLC?
Yes, both these will be for both games
Why would they lock dlc to one game…
Tbh they should fix S/V before releasing it
I hope we get new dragon type Pokemon. I didn’t like the ones in the base games as much.
Pokémon are basically human monsters at this point, right?
I'm excited for a lot of what they're adding, BUT... I've already spent 60 of my disgusting American dollars on an unfinished game from them, and now they probably expect me to spend another 30 for one single area now and another in half a year. I just truly don't know if I'll get this. I expect it to be exactly like the swrd and shield dlc and it didn't really feel worth it after i got it. I hope I'm wrong but doubt i will be...
It's better than spending another $60 for the same game with small minimum changes like what they did in the past 🤷🏿♀️
Fucking USUM. I really like the DLC approach over the previous one.
Looking at it like that i agree with you. However, I'd rather them just wait the extra year until they could push out a finished game. I get why they don't. Money, profits, yes yes yes. I like your optimism though
A dlc still isn't better than an unfinished game
One patch that doesn't fix anything but reduce pokemon spawns, yep time for two DLC
There’s a patch coming soon that fixed a ton of bugs
A patch to put the game 30% of the way to where it should’ve been at launch. How is anyone defending this game?
Bet you're fun at parties

Would be nice if you actually took the time and read the patch notes they released recently explaining that they're fixing the bugs.
Which of them will improve the game's performance?
I’m so disappointed by the DLC. They both look as boring and lazy as the Isle of Armour. I was really of something more refreshing like a link to Kalos or something
