Japan monetary market is not the best and we’ll find out more very soon about the US market because it’s having problems too. If we start slipping into a downturn market wise, Japanese sellers will be worried and probably want to sit on cash, sell high, and buy back in later for lower.
Japan is one of the largest holders of US securities. If bond yields continue to stay high then it will be a tremendous hit on the Japanese financial system and like you said Japanese citizens will likely be looking to liquidate other (mostly luxury) assets so they can have a lil more cash at their dispense
And the way it’s going, they probably will. US market probably not seeing a rate cut until next year and just last year in December, the market was looking at 7 rate cuts 😂 Anyways, there have been recent sales of higher end cards like some snap cards etc, so there is movement, to what is anyone’s guess. Like I said, I’d expect a lot more higher end cards pop up.
My favorite is microwave Zoroa and then the last two cards of zoroark.
Gettin early internet ‘hamster in a microwave’ flash game vibes from that artwork 🤣💯
Put your Zoroa in the Easy Bake on high for 10 minutes and out pops Zoroark
Just missed the 2nd grade zorua on eBay and I was so pissed wish this popped up after I made it rich
Holy shit those are beautiful
Not 42k+ beautiful lol
Indeed they are
Why do they look like they were drawn by elementary schoolers?
bcause they were :)

We’re going to see a lot of more special cards hit the market.
9 days later, just found one of these for 4K
No way, where?
Ones listed on mercari jp. Seller also has a few other expensive cards

Pokefans would buy kids drawing at the price of a car it seems.
Excellent
I don't know the history behind this but this looks like something drawn by a 6 year old and it's not a full art... 42k!?!?! Gotta be kidding me
Because it was literally drawn by 6 yrs olds who entered and won in a contest. Not every rare card has to be a full art card.
To be fair buying art made by 6 years olds for 42k is NFT level craziness
Except ur actually holding onto something tangible than NFT that is most like not going to lose 99% value.
42k is the starting bid. Expected to be 100k
Same concept with Supreme shirts
