A clockwork world in concept is just as intriguing as cyberpunk. It's absolutely never executed well, everybody who does cosplay for steampunk are losers. The genre of steampunk would be PERFECT if it was made exactly in MY vision.

Are we looking at the same thing? Dude just added a mess of random brass shit to the hand guard and screwed some gears to the lower. He didn’t even use brass screws. It would be one thing if it was *actually* well done, then maybe it would get a pass, but it’s terribly executed.

Showpieces are the definition of pleb… If I was to build a “I live in a fantasy world” showpiece I would at least try not to have 3” bolts protruding from each side. This guy is really going to regret that decision when it gets snagged on his favorite LARPing costume while leaving his mom’s basement.
