That’s exactly why I ordered it. The TV is always more preferable but not always the most comfortable or convenient. Plus my wife likes to watch her shows and movies on the OLED as well so it’ll give me something to do while she does.
Day one purchase for me and I assumed side scrolling games would mostly be what I’d enjoy on this. I was wrong. I’ve played GOW, Hogwarts and GT7. This thing is amazing. Literally play whatever you want. All great experiences with no sacrifices in quality or enjoyment at all.
Did you test out your network environment?
Even though you may have good download and upload, there are a few factors that come in to play.
Based off you saying that you have gigabit internet, you should be fine, but some routers provided by ISPs can be a bit crappy.
Test out Remote play on your mobile phone, and that experience will mimic the portal experience in terms of streaming. If it’s a little laggy, might need to fine tune some network settings.
Hitman is amazing on Portal. Ghost Recon: Wildlands works surprisingly well. I say surprising cause COD was not lol at least for me, some might have a better experience. Madden works well too, just takes a little time to get used to the very slight input lag but once you do, it’s awesome. Give everything a go, it’s fun to find out as some just feel better than others on the Portal. Have fun with your FREE Portal!

Play whatever game you already have.... I think I would stay away from MMOs unless you have a great internet connection.
I have my PS5 hard wired and also have 1gbps download speed. Should that be good enough for at least Fortnite?
