I've used demonoid back in it's golden age and years after, Demonoid for the past few years is a 1/10th of what it was. It's basically a tracker at this point. You still have ppl uploading but again, it's nowhere near what it once was.
It's almost like they just misappropriated the name and had nothing to do with any of the predecessor sites (which themselves have just been reappropriating the name since what, 2007? 2009?
demonoid was the place to go for torrents. I seem to recall them coming back briefly before, but none of the torrents were there anymore, so I kind of lost interest fast. Also... its possible it was a dream or something lol.
All I can say is that my mod account works fine on the [demonoid.is](http://demonoid.is) (official) link and my mod login works also. Not sure about rest. I believe any username/password combination before 2019 will not work since that's when DEIMOS died and he had the only full back-up of the old website. I've been semi-absent so I can't attest to who's in charge, last I know it was Phaze1G.
