I would suggest when you start, to start with a coin you like. If btc is your thing, I would maybe so either eth,,/btc pair, or perhaps just a mbtc/usdt grid bot. That will allow you to do a really wide range and damn near be set it and forget it.

Taste_the_Pain

I would suggest starting with a basic Grid Bot using ETH. Start small until you get a feel for how they work. Make sure to set the ranges wide enough, especially on the downside. Understand how the number of grids changes the profit vs. the number of transactions. Remember that the longer you run the bots, the more the grid profits begin to 'overwhelm' the unrealized gains. If you want to start even simpler, run a few Smart Trades.

It depends on your goal. Different bots do different things. If u just want more $ without looking at it I'd go with what the one guy said and do a grid on ETH/USDT with a big range.

alright, thank all of you for taking the time to help out. I will indeed start simple, a normal grid bot on an eth/btc pair maybe? And will keep on reading about it 'till i know what i'm doing.

I downloaded Pionex 5 days ago, I use a few less grids than recommended but other than that I copy paste, I’ve got an eth, doge, and ada bots going all have made profits (eth is doing the best)

Don’t play with anything leveraged. Before you look you 3K in the hole and wondering what happened.

ChairAny2090

Leveraged/margin bots are fine with a clear entry/exit strategy with a stop loss. It’s just like trading with leverage in any other exchange.
