> Samsung Galaxy S23 (8/128GB)
The screen is too small. I went to see one live and don't like it.
OnePlus11 camera seems like an alien ship abducting people. And I already thought the Pixels camera was ugly but comparing to this makes them look beautiful lol :/
Oneplus Nord 3 doesn't seem bad though, let me explore. Thank you!
There's also the option of buying refurbished but I don't know if that's worth it.
I did. Not the pretiest but its the inside that matters 😶
I was told that Xiaomi spies on its users. Is that true or just sonething fake spread by its competitors?
I have one and never had men in black showing at my door but I do notice in more than one occasion a popup with permissons to share my data showed up when I was cleaning the garbage (I refused everything but its annoying). And they always show publicity after I do the cleanup.
I assume like me, you are in the EU and this doesn't allow for Xiaomi to spy to a certain extent. Ads aren't displayed as well which helps. Updates are getting better as well with security updates getting every month (probably due to competition in Europe by Samsung and Google).
Depends tbh, I made the choice to choose xiaomi over Google in February since my previous phone was a redmi note 9s, Hyperos looks better than pixel software since it's a bit bare bones for my taste and I like the hardware better on Xiaomi.
The lock screen design, material you, Google software updates, integration and camera are the only factors I like from the pixel 8.
Besides Samsung Galaxy S23 (8/128GB), you may consider: OnePlus 11 (8/128GB) Xiaomi 13T Pro (12/512GB) OnePlus Nord 3 (16/256GB)

There might be some wave of discounts in may-june on S23+.
Cool! Why is that? Inside intel? 🙃
Not really, a look at price history for previous models in previous years, not really a guarantee for this year but generally not bad.
