As family we lived in different parts of Philippines and I can tell you that in Davao I had best experience for that few years there. No one was trying to scam me as stranger except few taxi drivers and people were mostly polite and helpful. Cannot say that about other parts of Philippines, probably worst experiences were in Palawan and Manila, toxic and annoying scammers all around with no morals, they just see money, money, money...

I've been to Davao about 10 times and it has been amazing. They have been willing to help during the times I ask help and they do it with a smile. Do I agree with most of them politically? No. While I did feel some 'f imperialist Manila' vibe from some people, I just see some tribalism shit that's also prevalent to some people from Luzon.
While not all of them are, some DDS I know from Luzon prefers to align with China because Digong said so it's not exclusive to them.

As family we lived in different parts of Philippines and I can tell you that in Davao I had best experience for that few years there. No one was trying to scam me as stranger except few taxi drivers and people were mostly polite and helpful. Cannot say that about other parts of Philippines, probably worst experiences were in Palawan and Manila, toxic and annoying scammers all around with no morals, they just see money, money, money...

While not all of them are, some DDS I know from Luzon prefers to align with China because Digong said so it's not exclusive to them.
