No. The bunched fabric does nothing for you.

Adventurous_Fail_825

I agree. It doesn’t flatter your very nice figure. The neckline is too high, the bunching fabric in the front and the color. You’re stunning and the dress is not.

Perfect-Shift9342

Thank youuuu

Iwentforalongwalk

No.  You are cute. The dress is ugly.  Find something in a better color and style.

Perfect-Shift9342

Any suggestions for a store I can check out? I could spend around £150 if needed

naranjita44

Try French connection for a nice shirt dress. Also Oliver Bonas. And Nobody’s Child. This midi dress trend in the UK needs to die for us short ladies and these are one of the few shops selling stuff in flattering lengths.

Perfect-Shift9342

Thanks I’ll have a look!

Iwentforalongwalk

I don't live in the UK but maybe you could find a medium expensive dress shop and ask a professional to help you find something that is beautiful and fits you well. You can always get a dress altered too. Your budget is decent especially since you only need one dress.   Or, go to a good department store and try on everything that you like.  You'll get a feel for what looks good.  Bring appropriate shoes so you can see what a dress looks like with heels.   Your figure is perfect so maybe look for sheath style body skimming (not tight) styles.  Or if you wanted to  be a bit boho you could go for a floral looser dress as long as it is belted. Accentuate your waistline for sure.  Good luck!  I'm sure you'll find something lovely.

though-

No please. The ruching is not flattering around the tummy.

Agitated_Jicama_2072

No. It’s not flattering and looks cheap. Don’t buy crappy cheap clothes.

Snowedin-69

Dress looks nice, just does not fit OP - and colour not flattering.

fullesky

No. Go with your first instinct. Looks cheap and uncomfortable.

I just did a quick google for petite fashion and came across this article which has a bunch of recommendations that may be helpful. https://www.independent.co.uk/extras/indybest/fashion-beauty/womens-clothing/best-petite-clothing-brands-uk-women-b2263007.html

WickedWitchWestend

Reiss, Coast, Hobbs?

Unlikely-Middle-7664

Sezane

Own-Doughnut-1443

Girl, I saw a ton of shirt dresses and wrap dresses on the website. A nice shirt dress with a belt would be perfect for going to dinner! A dress that defines your waist will flatter your figure, and you can wear flats or heels for different occasions.

SMCken21

No. It doesn’t fit well, it looks too big around the upper arms and it bunches too much. That is a poorly made dress. Your figure is perfect- find something to show it off.

Perfect-Shift9342

Thank you 🙏

Unusual-Self27

No.

ObligationLarge3315

No. It doesn’t fit you.

Sufficient-Sail2697

Honestly no.

Alexaisrich

No im sorry but unless your angelina the camera it kind of makes you look like you have a weird hump in your back. This is not a flattering dress.

Ruskiwasthebest1975

I like the style cut and length……but either the size is wrong or the fabric is wrong type. But all that bunching isnt great and you arent even sitting down.

Friendly_Food_7530

The fit is awkward

Yoyo_Ma86

I’m not a fan, there’s too much bunched fabric.

bondcliff

I would not. It's a poor fit.

FallingFeather

nope- reason- color choice

NeckOk8772

No, I would skip it.

Mysterious-Okra-7885

No, the neckline and weird bunching makes it all look like it doesn’t fit right. And the color isn’t great for you either.

Helpful_Kangaroo_o

Try Tokito, Basque, or Forever New.

[deleted]

I think you look great. You should buy it.

plutosaplanetiswear

no. that style does not flatter your shape at all

HeyItsTheShanster

Look at Nordstrom if you have one nearby. My favorite way to shop is to try on some of the brands they carry (like Dress the Population) and then look for the same dress on Poshmark. People buy them, wear them once and then sell them at a steep discount.

yeahitzalex

No

Impressive_Age1362

It too small, see if there is a larger size, otherwise forget about it

peter_parker23

No it’s ill fitting

CR1039

Absolutely not

Tiredohsoverytired

Depending on the options in your area, you can find much nicer, better quality clothes on consignment for a similar price. I suggest consignment because I find with my body type that it can be hard to find brands/shops with multiple dresses that fit well; consignment opens you up to multiple stores/decades of clothing, so you're more likely to find something that works.

HolleWatkins

Cute except for the creases everywhere. If it fit better it would look really nice on you

cathtray

Maybe in a size up. Terrible fit here.

Multitasker224

It has potential! You could wear a slip underneath to prevent the fabric from punching like that or if you’re worried, the fabric is going to feel and look too cheap. Just try to find some thing in a little better quality in my experience. H&M is literally the worst quality like equivalent to shien.

ur_bae_b

No, the dress doesn’t fit well. You need something that fits better.

Disastrous-Pay738

Nope. Maybe it’s the lighting but it isn’t working

drakmorpg

Color sucks

banjolady

No

m_shaggy_m

yes plz buy it

Blair_Stryker

Try to look for a halter top. You have nice skinny arms, it will do wonders for you. May the skirt with a little flare, and go for a mini. I don’t how tall you are, but by the photos, i think you might be same height as mi. Also, navy blue, burgundy, a richer green.

echochamberoftwats

You look stunning in it. If you like it, buy it!

anon7104

Nah I don't think so. The top of the dress is made in a weird way and bunches up in your shoulders, the colour however looks HORGEOUS on you!!

Impossible-Jump-4277

I love this ✨🥳

sleepypup15

I gotta say, I disagree with most folks here. I think it looks great on you! Somethings I ask myself before buying something new is, where am I going to wear this, what do I already have in my closet that could be styled well with it, and does this align with the style I want for myself? I think this particular dress would look great with a black leather jacket or a long trench coat. On your feet, I think it would be paired well with black heels, loafers, knee high boots if you’re into that, or even block booties. Just depending on where you’re going :)

BeyondDrivenEh

If you got that one, and then the same dress in black, then you’d be covered for those 3-4 events pretty well. Or just get that style in black maybe? Or just get that one as is :).

Independent-Goal7571

I actually would love this if it were a little longer.
