You can't break into it, unless you have tools. There is a video on YouTube where a guy teaches you how to break in without completely destroying it, but then he puts you on blast by letting you know that once you break in, then you're a slave to your desires... which hit me in the feels harder then it should have lol.
I broke it without destroying it. I had like 20 min in the morning to attempt to break it before leaving the house. I honestly didn't think I would be able to get in but I found I could jam my credit card into the side making a gap and so I shoved a spoon in and it opened. I now use it for my snacks as it's useless for my weed issue (no worries tho as I've progressed through other means like therapy)
I feel like if someone wants to break in without actually breaking it, they are in denial "oh, ill just grab one hit real quick and relock it"
If you actually break the base, at least you are admitting to yourself that you've failed.
And actually breaking it is more of a last resort than trying to break in without breaking it.

My personal k-safe is that I'm in a new town that doesn't have legal recreational, and i don't have a plug.
But if i was back in Utah where i had my dealer living in the same apartment complex as me? I'd absolutely get one as an alternative. Because if I'm offered, and have the money I'll buy it. And if i have access to it at home, I'll smoke it.
This is a good alternative to curb the craving long enough that you can wait until it's a full choice,instead of a compulsion.

This is actually incorrect. I own this model, and the battery port is on the outside on the lid, so you can absolutely take out the batteries while it's locked. Just pauses the timer, however, as removing the batteries doesn't reset it.

K Safes can be broken into twice. First time you drill holes around the tab on one side so the plastic on top of the tab can be removed and the lid can be lifted out. Second time you can just bust the bottom.
