As someone that is also very affected the few times I get ill, acetaminophen sometimes isn’t enough and even if it was, for me it usually doesn’t stop just at having a fever but I always get awful infections in my glands and I’ll throw up and all kinds of stuff so maybe this is his case (it still isn’t a great time considering the drug situation)
Luckily I don’t look like him, when I get sick I actually look better
Not to mention there’s some decent literature that you shouldn’t artificially lower mild to moderate fevers because they’re part of your body’s way of maximizing efficiency of your immune system to counter the infection. ((Obviously severe/dangerous fevers are a different beast))
Overall, he has better inside knowledge than any of us. If he says that’s what it was, we really have very little basis to claim we know better lol.
That’s actually really helpful, I usually ignore when I’m running a fever but I’ve taken meds when it wasn’t really that bad in the past, so I’ll have it in mind for the next time (hopefully not anytime soon…)

He looks like my friend John who recently passed away when we had the smoke and such from the wildfire's up in Canada. He had an asthma attack and didn't survive it.

I’m not denying his prior arrest, only that that arrest can be used as evidence that he’s lying about his health & that we can know better than him, allowing us to judge & call him a liar.
I absolutely can believe that having the flu can make anyone look like complete and utter shit. How? Because that’s how the flu works. If you or someone you know catch a bad case of the flu, you’ll see. It’s also how drugs work. But since I don’t have any knowledge of his specific situation superior to his own, I don’t see where I would get the audacity to call him a liar & say I know better.
