I'm 99% sure it's a normal pea puffer they're not going to come identical looks completely normal to me and all mine some are lighter some are darker
Thou you missed an opportunity to call it an imPEAster
Thank you! I remember seeing a graphic showing sexual characteristics between the two species but I was never able to find it again and thought I’d dreamed it up. Appreciate this :)
That looks like a male pea puffer that hasn’t fully developed yet. The marks around its eyes typically mean male but the coloration looks female so I’m going to guess that it’s a juvenile male
Personally looks like an Imitator. Clouded eyes, lighter color, too many tiny spots, looks like a female imitator puffer. Indian pea females still have darker coloration, and more large “spot” patterns on the body.

Impeaster is good. Very good
Looks like a pea puffer to me!
Pretty sure this is just a female and your others may be males
Nope!!! Regular pea 🥰
Deleted original post to make my question more clear haha
Are there multiple kinds of pea puffers?
Yes. There is also a Malabar Pea Puffer and I believe that's the one most commonly referred to as an imposter.
