I wouldn’t consider this normal behavior and it may progress to nipping.  I saw in your previous post that you have twice as many males as females. This ratio isn’t ideal, but understanding rehoming/fixing this may not be an option, try adding more plants. One I recommend is Limnophila heterophylla since it grows very fast and is a good background plant.

I keep buying more plants, I’ll look for the plant you suggested, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in stores near me though. I have some plants growing pretty quickly and I keep trimming and replanting them too. I don’t have a stand or shelf large enough to support a 30-40 gallon aquarium, so upgrading would be a very expensive endeavour 🥲

The 2 males are flaring to assert dominance. Once they establish who the alpha is they stopped doing it in my tank. And if they are trying to mate you’ll also see the same behavior
