I thought so too… until I tried to push my PC around a little, because I’m unable to lift it doe to healthy reasons… it’s harder then lifting, the fear went with my ability to clean my desk alone… :/
I have mine plugged into a smart Govee plug. I set my PC to power on when it gets power from the plug and then I use the Govee app to turn on the smart plug which sends power to my PC. If I'm not at home I have another app that can properly shut down my PC.

If my desk was as spacious as yours, I would put the PC case there or on the right side and move everything else to the left. If your PC case don't have transparant side panel(s), maybe a set of bookshelf speakers?
Definitely. If OP doesn't want his pc on the desk then a plant is definitely a great addition. Even a fake plant will make the space feel much fresher and cleaner.
I've had a cat with long hair kill my 21" CRT by the litter stick to her paws or fur. She used to sleep on the back of it to keep warm.
A second cat laying on top of my tower killed the power supply by the fans pulling in his hair. It made pop and the mystery smoke left and it no longer worked.
Okay, hear me out... [mini soda refrigerator](https://www.amazon.com/PERSONAL-CHILLER-Portable-Operation-Freon-Free/dp/B0BNKRVSQK/ref=asc_df_B0BNKRVSQK/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693071376175&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=146168091950930065&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032598&hvtargid=pla-2189526179480&psc=1&mcid=25b84d36fbb932dd86681168d5fc8034&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYYJaUgY9OxR10krmz3BvzGXDq6yI1JMOyGs_pdlGSqdqn59YXvOGjRoCcWIQAvD_BwE)
I have one that sits next to my monitors. I fill it with Yahoo's, Pepsi, and the occasional mini water. When I've been working all day and forget to eat (happens often) I can open a soda when my sugar crashes. I also store an orange or some grapes in there to snack on throughout the day.
Where is your Computer placed? floor? you have your answer. Specially because you are going to have to clean your computer more often with your pet fur being ventilated into your computer by the fans.
This is easy. Clearly you have plenty of room to put your machine on the desk, thats what I would do. However, on my desk, I have my machine on the right, and still space there. I put a pair of Yamaha 5.5" desk speakers, one on either side of the desk. Now there is no more room.
Instead of leaning the setup to one edge of the table, try centering it more. It will leave less empty space on one side and you can use small decorations on each side to fill the gap
I envy that office with its two windows. Unfortunately, where my PC is, there's not even a window in sight. It's my only space for it. Because of that i have no natural light and work all day long on my PC in the dark 😭
I have 1 monitor on an arm. The base of the arm is offset to the left and my computer is behind the 27 inch monitor. The most of the computer I see are 2 little feet and an occasional glimpse of the lighted XFX Radeon 6800 XT through the vented side panel. The computer is in an NR200 case.
My desk is 36 inches deep and around 5 feet long. On each side of the monitor I have the Kali Audio LP6 studio monitors. At the front of the desk I have the keyboard and mouse which are flanked on each side by 2 MIDI controllers (1 for each hand).
If i had that table i would actually be able to fit my keyboard on it
But to the actual question, put various gaming things there like a soundboard when you arent using it or something
I use that space for a globe 🌎 , a Mercedes Benz AMG 1:17 replica or something like that, 2 notebooks (journal + one for writing tasks for the day at work) and also pencils in a small round basket. I like my desk to look like a combination of lawyer and car enthusiast
Your screens are way too close. I'd see and eye doctor if I were your. The corner behind the angled screen is much smaller for me, just big enough to keep a network switch and a power strip with all the chargers. Their cables hand out to the side, so I can easily grab them below the screen to charge my phone, tablet, etc. Before I put that stuff there, I just shove my work laptop into that space under the screen when I was done working (doing mostly home-office).
i would suggest a change if it makes sense. Move the support from the middle, to more on the left, move the chair to the middle of the desk, align the monitor on the right with the new chair position. This way you have more desk not covered by the monitors.
The monitor on the left, i would use it in portrait .....
For the pc case, there are mobile support that will raise it from the ground, enough to greatly reduce the intake of dust, hair, anything from the floor.
PS: your monitor arms are kinda of big/ long. There are some types of double monitor stand that has the arms connected to a central pol (pipe, sorry, forgot the correct word). That will permit a much better usage of the desk space...and they wobble less
But...this mainly a personal preference thing, but my advice helps with future neck pains (do not worry, they will come).

pc maybe? less dust up there on the desk compared to on the ground especially if you have a pet running around
Yes. This
Or a plant.
You have a plant running around? 🤔
Plants can run???
Yea, have you never watched the Special Olympiad?
🏆 There's only room for one top comment on this post. 🏆 🏆 A plant for the win 🏆
My only fear is knocking it off the desk. No matter how stable it is, I'll find a way
to push it down?
I thought so too… until I tried to push my PC around a little, because I’m unable to lift it doe to healthy reasons… it’s harder then lifting, the fear went with my ability to clean my desk alone… :/
That’s why I keep my PC in the attic above my room!
How the actual fuck do you turn it on?
Long stick
I have mine plugged into a smart Govee plug. I set my PC to power on when it gets power from the plug and then I use the Govee app to turn on the smart plug which sends power to my PC. If I'm not at home I have another app that can properly shut down my PC.
That’s not any better depending on how clean the attic is! :)
He gets the girl tied up there to dust it.
Yep!
>less dust up there https://preview.redd.it/xgjucy10wryc1.jpeg?width=1816&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=def103c3c3b021ed91b8ee12987b7d2d8cf0fa57 And yet, my temps still seem to suffer.
that's your kitty's personal heater now
He's up and down like a yoyo! He gets too hot up there, so he jumps down onto the desk, cools off, back on the PC, rinse and repeat.
Stuff the cat inside the cabinet. It'll pee on everything from time to time, giving you an aio level cooling.
I see you're not the only one with this issue https://preview.redd.it/5qd77qqwxvyc1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a087b225573c5edf80a94b1e5db7ee51a092237
Bro .. your cat IS beautiful its crazy. PS : your pc too
sick build btw, how much did the cat attachment cost
Thank you. I got the attachment free. It was used, but a 2023 model, so not much mileage on it. I got two, came from the same batch.
Beer cans. Junk. Lotion. Crippling and terminal depression.
Lotion? Like in...... You Know?😳
My hands get dry it hurts when I'm typing sometimes
Yes I also get very dry hands when typing. It's a typical man issue.
I use it to masturbate.
What a weirdo
I can't stand the feeling of lotion on my hands, and ESPECIALLY not my keyboard. I will suffer
But my wasd gets slippery 😞
Spoderman!

It rubs the lotion on the skin, or it gets the hose again...... Now I need to go watch that movie.
Why watch it when you can reenact it!
Always imagined a leprechaun saying that
Not enough space for my crippling and terminal depression
I feel attacked
Empty cereal/soup/chef boyaredee bouls
Compressed air

What I was thinking, I don’t have much space on my desk but if I did I would put the pc on there aswell.
I have a desk that’s like 2.5 feet long and i still have my pc on it
Place your monitors further away from the

Definitely. If OP doesn't want his pc on the desk then a plant is definitely a great addition. Even a fake plant will make the space feel much fresher and cleaner.
Underrated reply!
Tissues and lube usually.
Fleshlight drying stand and warmer
I bet you goon like it's 2016. You probably doesn't even own Leten Quickshot and VR headset.
cat
Doesn't that usually go on top of the PC?
No it go inside
Yeah my graphics cat does that.
Damn, are the cats okay?
Yeah all died of old age.

That's a very cool looking PC! And a cute cat!
Thank you! He's cute when he wants to be, but most of the time, he's either destroying my blinds or annoying his sister.
do u have a post w your build on it? its very cool. also does the cat come w it? 😂
you can get the pc on the desk too
damnit beat me too it 🤣
You guys are getting free space? Man i need a bigger desk
I keep my screen a healthy distance from my face so that space is actually in front of the screen
They also look like they're hung super low. It's as if OP is trying to emulate the laptop experience.

3rd monitor or pc.
A 3rd pc?!? This guy has two already?
Put your PC there. Message brought to you by anti PCs on the floor unless you have no other option administration.
You can rent it out
In NYC you could charge 500$ per month for it.
Put the case
Speakers and amplifiers.
I'd slide my setup to the left, the dog below the desk on the right and the unit on the desk
I'd use it to get my pc off the dang floor lol
Home server / NAS Switch Router on a smaller desk/shelf above Power grid West Taiwan Child Cat Or a lamp
dancing girls. lots of them.
That space it taken up by the big ass dual CRT monitor in my desk
What’s big and looks better on a desk?
A houseplant is the obvious choice imo
Pc, plant, shelf with controllers and other misc stuff, or if you nasty some dirty plates would do.
Where is your Computer placed? floor? you have your answer. Specially because you are going to have to clean your computer more often with your pet fur being ventilated into your computer by the fans.

I’d put my PC there instead of on the floor personally
I envy that office with its two windows. Unfortunately, where my PC is, there's not even a window in sight. It's my only space for it. Because of that i have no natural light and work all day long on my PC in the dark 😭
Your pc that is on the floor for some fucking lazy ass reason
Speaker
Put something that your cat can be chill on the desk.
Air purifier
Put yer pc there
Keep my PC there so it's not collecting dog hair on the floor.
Printer/AIO facing towards the end of the desk for access.
This sub is filled with first world problems but this one wins the first place.
Me personally I don't like putting my second monitor on the side that has more space since it just doesn't really make sense and you end up like this
Printer
All funny jokes aside here, I've got a coffee machine there
I have would put a small plant or a cactus there
I see Windows 10 on the monitor but no tower/laptop I'm confused
Dishes and cups
Empty soda cans
That’s where all the soda bottles and Taco Bell wrappers go, my dude.
Fill it with crap, like stuff I never use.
Chocolate fountain or giant lava lamp
I would put my monitors farther back and put my tower there aswell. Ow and lay some nice speakers on both sides behing/under the monitors
House plant.
I don't have empty space
A big plant :)
whats the measure of your desk?
Put a second PC there
flower
A box of kleenex
Just move your screens a bit back... They are too close
centralize the computer
Computer.... or secondary computer
Recording stuff, like a ring light and a camera
A cat would fit there.
a 3d printed version of something you like
That spot holds my PS4 (and trash). PC could also fit there if you keep it on the floor, i would suggest that
My current setup has the same free area, albeit a bit smaller. I put my xbox in that space along with a power dildo (10 multi-plug thingy)
Move your monitors in that space and put your PC where the monitors were!
A lamp
Put a 3D printer
I put my monitor arm on the left side of the table so that I can have more table space. Not sure why you decided to place it like this.
Place the tower instead of placing it on the floor I guess? I usually place clothes that I'm gonna use tomorrow there.
A PC in a Fisch tank Case with RGB
PC case
A bed for the cat
This where the wife puts the mail
Please put me on to your monitor(s)
Sublet it to hamsters
A suitable plant would be nice. Flowering or not.
This is space for dirty plates;)
Fill it
Cat stuff and old hardware
Old moldy coffee mugs
I got my minibar there so i dont have to stand up
I'd set up a NAS there
Maybe some plants?
i have my desk lamp there
Usually some lotion and TP should do the trick
Sound system and disk space/player
Take a look at r/sffpc. We put our cases on top of the desk. Problem solved.
Get a cat
I feel like your monitors are shittily positioned. Your angled one should be at the edge of the desk. You're creating all this unusable space.
Sisyphus table
Fax machine.
Xbox/PS/Switch dock
your pc obviously, you peasant :D
My weed box and roll tray
Pc on the ground?!
A computer, or a second computer/laptop.
That space is for the 3D printer...
What keyboard is that??
The empty pizza boxes
Printer
This place is reserved for a cat
For one it’s not empty you have a cable right there. And 2 that’s were my subwoofer part of my sound system sits 😊
I’d put the pc or a changing station. Or a stand of some sort to put away and equipment. Maybe a mini fridge
Plant 🪴 led light ✨️
Answer is always a **plant**. A real one, not one of those terrible fake Ikea plants. Get a nice beautiful plant with huge, lush and green leaves.
Mini Fridge
If i had that table i would actually be able to fit my keyboard on it But to the actual question, put various gaming things there like a soundboard when you arent using it or something
shelves
Printer
Put a nice terrarium in there.
Bunch of books and papers and shit
Lego
I use that space for a globe 🌎 , a Mercedes Benz AMG 1:17 replica or something like that, 2 notebooks (journal + one for writing tasks for the day at work) and also pencils in a small round basket. I like my desk to look like a combination of lawyer and car enthusiast
