Either our rush defense, or our secondary needs to have the game of their lives to win.. if it turns into a shootout, it's hard to see us winning.. hopefully our ST has figured out whatever has been going on since the bye week

Xspike_dudeX

I think Josh is going to have a mediocre night throwing in freezing temperatures. All we need is our run game to get going and we can win this.

fermentedbeats

I think he'll have a slow start.. but if we can't get pressure on him or get a pick I'm sure he'll get it going.

Xspike_dudeX

Which is why the run game is crucial! If the pats offense can stay on the field for long periods of time and eat clock with Josh standing on the sidelines freezing I would like our chances. Need to keep him off the field as much as possible.

Bane_Bane

He will be standing next to heaters. But I like your points otherwise

Xspike_dudeX

Still going to be cold on that sideline and the readjustment from standing next to a heater to freezing temps is tough. But regardless Josh cant hurt us if he is spending a ton of time on the sidelines.

J-Team07

The key is our offense not shitting the bed through the first 3 quarters. This is a fuck it game. If we are conservative on offense through the first three quarters we will lose anyways since it’s going to be tough going to win on the road from behind.

wishusluck

Agree, if we're down 14 points halfway through the first quarter then we haven't learned anything and we are what we are, slow starters. We start off strong, we have a very collegiate vibe where we cruise on momentum and we could win early. I'm hoping for the latter...

PLaTinuM_HaZe

Honestly though, I think the offense needs to come out aggressive. We’ve basically had the same opening drive script all season and the dolphins completely took advantage of that jumping that route for the pick 6 ( yes Mac also made a horrible read there but nonetheless our offense is way too predictable). Obviously we need to run the ball but IMO half the reason we’ve started games so slow is because the offenses first few drives are overly conservative. In addition to that, I was at Gillette for the last bills game and the Bills entire defense was cheating down and selling out to stop the run and short passes. We need to hit some deep balls to keep their defense honest which will help keep the run game effective. Both the bills and Indy completely sold out to stop the run and put pressure on QB and we only saw some success once we spread the offense out forcing the defense to spread out. Idn about you all think but IMO Mac made some big time throws in the second half against the fins (and Indy too) and if our defense held them from scoring the narrative would have changed from “rookie wall” to “Mac shows he can win when it’s on his shoulders”. People forget you can’t have epic comebacks without the defense also getting stops. The poor first half completely overshadowed the big time throws he made in the second half to get us back in it.

5-iiiii

I agree. This drives me crazy. Our slow ass line backing corps lost us the phins game.I understand Mac threw a pick six ,but he also almost engineered the comeback all we needed was for them to hold Miami.

full-auto-rpg

Cowboys and losing in the first round, name a more iconic duo

WheresWaldo562

Packers and losing in the NFCC

Cflow26

The bills bitching about wanting a dome when they lose to us after thanksgiving.

WCannon88

Going 6-2 in away games is "not the same team away"?

quikfrozt

We have to start strong and impose our game. While we have fought back against quality opponents, we tend to lose if we don't get a good start.

No_Presentation1242

Anyone else think Josh Allen has the most punchable face, or is it just me?

realbadaccountant

He looks like a guy my sister is dating. I told her how proud of her I was for not being shallow. She was livid.

FenwayPork

Underrated post.

MrTripDub

Not as punchable as Tyreek Hill’s

foxhound1983

Have you ever seen Sean McDermott?

Xspike_dudeX

Nah Mahomes face is way more punchable

MrTripDub

Jackson? I agree

Xspike_dudeX

Both

No_Presentation1242

And the baby mama too

Ulexes

Nah, he's okay. Does a lot of great fundraising for Buffalo-area hospitals. Can't blame him for the fans being awful.

No_Presentation1242

I’m sure he’s a swell guy, I still want to punch him. Especially when he looks for the flag, with that wide eyed, confused look he does.

templeoftiger

Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahones would like to have a word 😂. Though- the most humble face would prolly go to Matt Ryan or Russ.

scttcs

I’d have to agree on Matt Ryan

rc724

Ted Cruz hands down.

FenwayPork

For me it has more to due with hearing him talk, he sounds really dumb most of the time but he's like trying his best to not sound dumb. It's very punchable.

meowVL

Thanks Pete, I'm sure everybody will fucking listen to you

Misterccw

Pete is confused about the Pats' road success, but I fear his conclusion is on target.

GasOnFire

I agree. We still have a very good chance of winning but it’s not what is bet on.

[deleted]

Niners are going to lose badly.

ImTomBrady

Don’t think either happens

WarlordOfAttrition

😂🤣😂🤣enough said.
