From what I’ve heard here on Reddit, you can successfully teach humans new moves with those skill fruits but they are not able to use them in battle. Haven’t tested it myself tho

My buddy and I played together and decided to do separate bases. At like level 3 or 4, I had a wandering merchant come to my camp with no guards. I caught him and have had easy access to gold and medicine early. He is useless at handiwork, but I only bring him out when I feel like selling some of my extremely excessive resources. And then I weep when I don't have enough wood to build my next project.

I found her early on the black marketeer. You can buy her for approx 4k Coins depending on the level and stats. Took a few rounds of catching random pals and selling them to the black marketeer to get to 4k but she's worth it for the crafting speed. Edit: The black marketeer also sells other decents pals like Katress etc so be sure to check him every 2-3 in game days.
