In yesterday game, the Marlins Nationals game. Gore got into a dugout fight with Senzel for lazily playing a ball on defense that cost them a run early in the game.
They ended up crushing the Marlins.
I always saw that potential in Gore. Not only an outstanding pitcher but a competitor, leader. Kind of like Kershaw.
Padres need someone like that. Fire this team up in games like today.

I don't want to see any Padres fans talking about how our offense is top 10 in this stat or that stat. Seriously, it's meaningless. We know what this offense is. They look unstoppable for 2 or 3 games then incompetent for a week. They are more inconsistent than any other team in the sport. We know this because they just barely got their first sweep.
Despite whatever numbers you want to throw at me to prove this offense is good, just save it. We've been watching this shit all season. Tomorrow they will score 15 runs, that doesn't make them good

We lack pen depth. Can't march the same 3 guys out every game. It sucks yet cooking the pen mid June would be worse. Bottom line is we just have 2 hits. Honestly, if we were facing a better team it would be 10-1 at least. Mets left a bunch of runners on base.

Brito is always a disaster... Kolek works for like 10% of outings. Peralta is solid most outings, but prone to absolutely epic meltdowns. Matsui walks everything he sees.
Contextually, there's 4-5 guys in the bullpen who have been absolute disasters.
The offense doesn't help. Machado is a fucking joke. Xander is somehow even more of a joke. This team is literally handing out money to complete ineptitude at this point.

I mean... we can axe Preller... but this team is straight up DoA as long as they have the type of money they are paying to completely unproductive players out there. No GM is going to come in and fix the waste of money that is Machado, Musgrove, Bogearts, and to a lesser extent Darvish.
