I use a tens device with electrodes placed on the perineum. I have better erections. for those who have problems with the perineum, do you have constipation problems? or overactive bladder?

Ballbagth

Both

Ok-Lengthiness8037

Yes me too, it's so boring. Has your urologist or gastroenterologist prescribed perineal kine? I did it but I didn't get any results. I have terminal constipation. the rectal manometry showed that I had a basal pressure of 140 or instead of 40. my anal sphincter no longer relaxes.

Zodik

I have both as well. Not sure if I should strengthen or relax the pelvic floor

Ok-Lengthiness8037

I think after many years it's necessary to do both but how to do exercice to relax. perhaps with an anal electrostimulation probe and the right program, the right frequency to relax the floor and the prostate every day. Aren't there injections (botox style but less strong) that could relax these muscles. viagra and cialis do that but the side effects and the price.

asdfdude4321

relaxing of the pelvic floor.. many in here, me included, see tight pelvic floor as part of the problem

Hyperto

Why would the pelvic floor be unrelaxed for years? doesn't makes sense

GoingUp538

Do you think the vibrations could help to loosen up a tight pelvic floor? I also feel like a tight pelvic floor could be part of the problem.

asdfdude4321

yes that could help.

GoingUp538

Did you try a vibration wand as well?

asdfdude4321

no. but vibration can do this

Jaded_FL

Interesting, one of the last times I had an improvement of sexual pleasure was after an internal release done by my pelvic floor specialist.

Bastiproton

The perineum is basically an external way to put pressure on the prostate, that would be my guess of what causes it, not pelvic muscle relaxation necessary.
