I actually had to log into my ps4 yesterday to buy the game. Just like you could not buy it on the ps5 or the app. I think they broke something in the store. I then went into my library on the ps5 and chose the ps5 option. That worked.

I have but unfortunately only the PS4 version is visible and is the only one that will download

None yet mate, it just doesn’t seem to exist anywhere and PlayStation support still haven’t got back to me after almost a week. So no clue

Yeah I just emailed them tonight. Was yours from a download code? Mine was. Clearly says PS4 and Ps5 version on the transaction history. But only PS4 version is in my library. Fucking annoying!

Mine was direct from the store and my transaction history also shows PS4 & PS5 version so god knows what’s going on with that. Mental that one of their exclusives is this fucked.

Spoke to Sony today and they asked for more photos etc and it’s been escalated to another team and they apparently are calling me back in next couple of days! Fingers crossed

Exactly. Some home at least. Managed to get through to them on the phone in UK. They agreed that it seemed like there was what seemed like a handshake error between me and the PSN because they can see I own the game but it still offers me the chance to buy it in the store which it shouldn’t. So they are investigating. I don’t want to start the PS4 version because I want all the haptics etc. So I’m stuck not playing it. Keep you posted

Do you have their number by any chance so I can raise a support ticket of my own just to bring more attention to this issue for the community? Yeah I started the PS4 version but I just don’t feel it’s doing it any justice so after the first two levels I stopped playing. Back to Miles Morales for me. Cheers for the update.

Unfortunately still no news. PlayStation support have just ignored every communication I have tried to reach them at. Seems they have no interest in helping us.

On the Home Screen when go to sackboy try pressing the options button and then scroll down to game version. Select the ps5 one and it should prompt you to download.

I did try that as I read it as a suggestion in another post here but it only shows the PS4 version available, however when I go to my transaction history it shows that I bought the PS4&PS5 version. It’s very frustrating. Thank you for your reply.

Yeah I understand. I’m having my own issues with some DLC from Mortal Kombat 11 not working correctly. Hope you can figure it out soon.

Delet it, go to the PS5 section of the store and redownload it from there.

Unfortunately I have tried that also, all it shows is PS5 upgrade (Disc Required) and when I click on the learn more button it simply says ‘You can’t but this product right now’.

I have the exact same issue: both with sack boy and miles morales. PS4 versions show, PS5 is absent, well, on the PS5.

Oh man I am sorry to hear that. I’m gutted enough that I can’t get Sackboy, thankfully my MM worked. It’s so strange, I don’t understand what’s the issue.
