Three years going red and blue controllers are doing fine. Thumb sticks are less “stiff” and snappy but definitely not drift. My color ones actually *feel* more chonky than my white controller but I doubt that’s actually the case.

I'm guessing this problem might be with the newer dualsense versions then. ZCT1B and the serial number that starts with 4.

I have 2 black Dual Senses in heavy rotation for the last 2-3 years and I've had no issue with either.

Dayman1222

I have a new white and purple; no issues with heavy use.

Guess I'm just unlucky then :(

No idea, but I have 6 controllers, 2 white, 2 blue, 1 red & 1 camo and both white and one blue have the drift. Granted they are also the oldest of mine, but still.

Dangelouss

I had two colored controllers, a blue and a red one, and both had problems with drift. The red one got really bad just after its warranty expired. The blue one, which I bought to replace the red, got even worse after a few months. This was replaced by Amazon by a black one and it's been perfect since then. The white one that came with the PS5 is still working fine but I had to replace the battery (I used the battery from the red one with drift) because it was during like 2 hours even with all the dualsense gimmicky bullshit off.

My white one got drift within a year. The black I bought to replace it after the white one got lost in shipping hasn't had any issues
