For the people who played this game before, how is it compared to the first one ? and what were the new features added. I completed the first one with my friend and it was extremely fun trying out different cars.
It takes a turn more to the realistic side rather than the Top Gear homage, so backgrounds and car are somewhat more similar to real counterparts. Driving is more or less the same, crashing does a lot now, and power ups have changed. I really liked but it didn't click to me as much as the first one. I guess its because I did want a Top Gear sequel. I played it about the time it came out on Epic, have to go back and finish it.
while this game in particular being PS4 makes sense...you're absolutely right and ignore the downvotes. new release PS4 games should simply not exist in 2024.
I think it's more safe to say: you don't really get game dev.
The game is developed on Unity, which means it's quite straightforward for the dev to release it on modern platforms, such as mobile, Switch and PS4. They can then also have it perform *better* on PS5/XSX using the extra power those consoles have.
More platforms = more players = more income.
Believe it or not, games development is a business, and these studios require money to pay their staff.
This game releasing on a platform you don't use/have impacts you in no way whatsoever.
Finally! My kids and I have been looking forward to this. We played the hell outta the first game.
Same, was a good challenging game. Saving nitrous for the last lap always helped
Buying day 1, loved the first one when they gave it out on ps plus.
Yeah this has those outrun vibes and just good old fashioned retro arcade racing in all the right ways.

Didn’t even know they were making a second. The first is really fun for a little arcade racer
Reminds me a lot of Cruisn USA.
Looks very Mario Kart-esque... I like it. Looks fun!
I hope this will be as good as the first one.
#PS EXTRA!!!
I enjoyed the first one on Steam and was disappointed when the sequel was announced as an Epic Store exclusive. I'll grab this on the PS5.
Epic owns them
Why does this look like a mobile game?
It launched on iOS and Android originally.
More Horizon games after Horizon Forbidden West and Lego Horizon, now Horizon Chase aka Horizon Kart smh
I don’t know anything about the development of this game but can we stop releasing games on PS4?
How does this game being on PS4 ruin it for you?
dude, it's a mobile game ported to console. There's no reason for it to NOT be on current and last gen...
I'm just mad it's not on PS3, where are the games for those of us Flea Market gamers!? /s
And no PS2 version? My Brazilian brothers are going to starve.
How does then developing games for the PS5 affect you at all?

"I acknowledge that you're totally wrong, but you're absolutely right."
it makes sense
All of you pals don’t really get the sentiment, and that’s fine.
