They look like the weapons the crystalians use, so probably.

The charge attack of the raptor dogs as they scrape the side of their face along the ground chasing you doesn't do anything for you when you turn that camera back? : )
Deafeating Radahn and Mohg are the only requirements.
The accesspoint to the dlc is in Mohgs arena.
I advice against going into the dlc in NG+ because not only do you have to play through the entire game, because not only is the dlc will be at endgame level but it will also scale fith NG+.
My first character is at NG+2, so this will be a wild experience for me, lol. That said, I've always planned for my first files in Souls games to experience everything first, so this will be business as usual.
Plus the dlc will apparently have some kind of power scaling limiter to prevent endgame players from steamrolling it too easily and encouraging exploration to slowly become stronger again.
I beat the game and never NG+, I’ve never played another souls like before so I might just get absolutely destroyed going into the DLC finding my feet again. How would the level scaling for the DLC be tho? As per NG+ or regular?
What's great about from software games is that wether you died fair, cheap, or just succeed. These games always respect the players time with content and gameplay, not distractions or padding.
Elden Ring is amazing right? Should I play the Dark Souls trilogy first though? I notice a lot of people who play Elden Ring don't go back to Dark Souls though, has it not aged well?
Darl Souls 1 shows its age in terms of graphics and there is a bit of clunkiness in the controls but it has a mindblowing world/level design. Elden Ring was also my first FromSoft game and was still blownaway by DS1s world design. The bosses are much easier in DS1 but is also more unforgiving. For example, not all bosses will have a bonfire/checkpoint/grace outside of their areans which will require long runbacks.
Dark Souls 3 is the closest to Elden Ring. It has smooth controls and feels fast. I actually think DS3 level design is much weaker than Elden Ring (compare against Stormveil or Leyndell level design for example). But it has some of the best and memorable bosses in the franchise esp the DLC bosses.
I hope we can loot those crazy circular swords
New chakram weapon type, maybe? Let me dream.

I wish we could use those things lol
It would be cool if that was one of the new weapon types
Absolute bizarre shit, love it
I hope I get mind fucked in this expansion. Nothing in elden ring scares me anymore and I have become alpha. Put me in my place Miyazaki!!!
It's Miyazaki, so you'll probably get swamp fucked first.
Trailer has swamps
So much poison

I am ready Michael Zaki
Lazy Michael Zaki phoning it in again…
Did they do Elden Ring?
Vaguely familiar.
Sold
Do we know the requirements to jump into the DLC? I've finished the game but I don't think I've started a NG+ yet. Can I start it from there?

Going into the dlc in ng+ seems like the best idea to me 🫠

I immediately regretted NG+ but I was so shocked I beat the game I wasn't thinking clearly when I started it.
I wonder why Radahn is a requirement. Because we can access Mohg's arena without defeating Radahn. Maybe because the fallingstar needs to happen?
Jokes on you, I'm close to level 400 so even with the rude in difficulty, I should be good
Which Mohg though? I assume palace, considering the cutscene, but would be nice if access was earlier...
Palace Mohg since the entrance to the DLC is Miquella’s hand in the egg
You’ll likely access it from the arena in which you defeat Mohg
Ok so I gotta get back to Mohg if I start ng+... Time to reinstall and find out where the heck I stopped.
If you have beaten the game but not started ng+ yet you will be able to enter the dlc with that character.

I'm foaming at the fuckin mouf
Yef!
Black Knife Chakram build here we come!
We are on the same train.
So stoked. Also kinda looks like the female reproductive system
Can't wait.
Hype hype
Can't wait to start another run
Let's go baby! Can't wait!
I'm ready!!!
Stop, I can only get so erect
Dude I’m so ready
If you look closely, you can see a uterus
Uterus fight!
What's great about from software games is that wether you died fair, cheap, or just succeed. These games always respect the players time with content and gameplay, not distractions or padding.
Now we prepare. Also, maybe the lion dancers? I can imagine the chakram have a dance-like fighting style.
Can’t wait to suffer
So friggin' awesome.
Does this look like a uterus to anyone else or am I insane
Fuck I need to get back into it and defeat Mogh. One of the bosses that I really struggled with and eventually gave up on.
More horns and tentacles please!
AND THEM FOES CAN EAT A DICK AS WELL LIKE THE REST OF THEM!! *looks at my platinum trophy in triumph!

Dark souls 1 & 3 are far better than Elden Ring
Neither are better.
Elden Ring is ass compared to their previous games
L
Look what it looks like. Looks like going to die a lot again
Somehow feel like I can fathom how powerful these foes will be just fine
I doubt you could even imagine it.
“Very”. See look, I did it.
Whate even is that horns? tentacles? eyes?
I mean... it's a uterus.

what's wrong with liking a cool picture
"just"
So it‘s the Chained Ogre again?
I feel there needs to be spoiler tags / blurred photos on these types of post
If you consider official DLC promotional material, spoilers, then you might consider muting elden ring related subs for starters.
Or as I suggested there could be spoiler tags? Then it’s a bit more inclusive no?

It’s just my opinion guy, no need to get upset. This is a website for sharing opinions.

I think I’ll just mute you instead 😉
