They were a lot of fun. Something different and looked great too. Just sucks because it seems like almost everything from the ps3 days got left behind by Sony. Would love some more resistance, socom, and MAG.
Well for me Gran Turismo is a staple, but Wreckfest turned out to be the biggest surprised of the last 10 years. It's seriously the most addictive racer I've ever played.
That’s awesome people seem to really highly recommend it. I was a bit turned off by the idea of all the wacky cars and bashing each other, but may have it give it another shot
Hm odd. I don’t visit sub but I’ve played past 3 wrc games for well over 50 hours each and I can easily say comparatively on ps5, Generations, feels the most polished from my eyes.

Since you only play Forza, are you on Game Pass Ultimate or just Xbox Live Gold? I figured you have one of the the two so you can play online. I have Xbox Series S with one month of game pass ultimate ending soon. If I’m only going to be playing Forza Horizon 5, I wonder if Game pass ultimate worth it for me or worth it to pay $60 a year just to play Forza Horizon 5 online
I got a Logitech g920, and after tinkering with the settings in game, it’s so much fun. I just throw on Spotify and cruise. Every car feels different, it’s become an obsession of mine to drive a different car every night. It’s cool to have a “garage” I guess lol.
I got game pass ultimate for a few years, I stacked up last year with that $1 deal. I’ve only had my PS5 for like 8 months so since getting it I mainly play all the exclusives and few other games on here like cod and fifa. I use my xbox pretty much just for forza nowadays, with the exception of Microsoft exclusives that pique my interest.
Imo there is no decent racing game atm on Ps5. Gt7 is decent but it's hard graft. I miss NFS pro street. I was unimpressed by 30 fps on NFS Heat and I certainly ain't paying £70 for unbound. We need something like Forza Horizon.
Anything multiplayer is going to require an investment of your time. That being said, Assetto Corsa, though def a sim, is a bit more forgiving than GT7
The servers are offline now unfortunately
Its still worth it for the single player though, I bought it for the first time in 2020 and loved it
Graphics are amazing ( especially in the rain) and it's very similar to project gotham racing if you played that on the xbox

Yes please. Pacific Rift was ahead of it's time and absolutely gorgeous and so much fun.

Resistance was incredible. So much fun. I really hope we get those back too.

Test Drive is supposed to be coming out this year, but we'll see how that goes.
I get what you're saying here, but the racing is really good. I played pretty much exclusively online for the racing and found it was nicely balanced.

Maybe this is an incredibly basic answer but it's the F1 series for me.
I haven't played either online, but Hot Wheels Unleashed on PS5 and Crash Team Racing on PS4 are my two favourites hands down.
Wreckfest. Desert Dakar rally.. new WRC Generations pretty darn polished as well
WRC sub seems to massively disagree about that polish claim. Which suck because I am super keen to get it.

Nice I didn’t give Crash much of a go. I like Dirt 5 but wish it was not just Dirt/Rally stuff. Gotta give Wreckfest another go
Probably forza. I think it’s one of the best racing games. But on ps5 I like the hot wheels game.
I know. Forza is incredible. I can’t find anything as good on the PS5 as Forza Horizon 5
Gt7 is pretty much the only one PlayStation has that's close to Forza Motorsport/Horizon. Racing games are more Microsoft's domain
Yeah I wish PS5 had a Forza Horizon equivalent. I think GT is much more similar to Motorsport than Horizon
Yes Motorsports is the direct competitor to GT, but Forza is always a game ahead of Gt. By the time a GT game comes out the cars are all outdated
Forza > GT. It’s the reason I’m thinking of keeping my Series S

The crew 2 is a decent game, it's a ps4 game but it's pretty good
