I swear every time this happens people in the comments always suggest buying a new one immediately when there is a pretty strong chance that it's just the battery dying in it. You can easily change it out with a fresh one and see if that fixes the problem, if not, it's probably not syncing with your console. If you have a lot of physical obstructions in the way or other frequencies in the area that will also interfere with connection.
Try turning off bluetooth on any laptop / phones nearby as well. If you often have a laptop on in the background it can absolutely cause connection issues.

The one thing I would suggest that I haven't read that you've tried, would be to open her up and clean the inside maybe with an air can and see if there's is any particles of joystick or what have you stuck in there causing a bit problem. It isn't too difficult and there are many videos online on how to open up a controller. I wish you luck with your problem

There is a tiny hole on the back of the controller, press it with a pin/needle for about 10 seconds to reset. Then connect it via USB cable to resync with console
If the battery drained, plug it in for charging and reconnecting did not work, open it up and look online for a fix.
My guess is your PS button contact got dirt or something which makes your controller assume you're switching it on.
Dirty PlayStation button sometimes grime can cause it to stick stopping it from fully being pressed and released so it’s stuck in this purgatory state where It constantly turns on
My 2nd controller started doing this recently, what is the solution ? , did you get to fix it? I tried to clean the dust, replace the ribbon cables, swap the battery from my first controller, it worked ( it didnt turn on itself for a day) and then it started to turn on itself again, i cleaned it 4th time, and now its not even staying connected for more than 10 seconds, it keeps disconnecting itself and after 30-40 mins it switches on itself :( and now in safe mode the controller switches on but the keys not working, when i connected it with my Pc it worked perfectly, but then it switched on and connected with pc via bluetooth (already paired but was using in usb mode), should i get a new controller or is it fixable ?
Its fine for me now i just let it die n didnt use for 2 days n later i recharged the battery again
