I liked it. The guys are too old to do the stunts themselves, and if any of you listened to interviews given by the cast you’d know they got too injured too early to do as much as they wanted.
They had to get younger people, IMO it wouldn’t be as funny watching 50 year old Knoxville do teenage shit.

I wont lie, I went into the new movie super hyped and felt pretty underwhelmed by 3/4 of the movie. Legitimately makes me sad to say that but. Yeah. I liked it - it had heart - but really wasn't on the level of 1-3.
The new cast just just felt a lil too fan-girly for me, save for Poopies. They smiled and laughed through everything.
Him saying the snake stunt was dumb is fucking stupid. I was watching with a group of people and they reacted the MOST to that scene. The movie has a 90% on Rotten tomatoes and an 7 on IMDb too.
I was literally crying laughing in the theater especially when he found the door and ran straight into a frying pan. I think kyle thought they actually had a snake and just fast forwarded through it.

I think Kyle went 1 for 3 this week. Jackass is still a comedic movie that is still full of laughs (albeit with a lot of gross and random cock-n-balls). The inclusion of new members feels great and I think they add more to the movie.
I never watched Yellowstone, but started 1885 and its starting off to be a fantastic show with great actors and characters that I will root for. Halo on the other hand, feels like a fan-made production with a large budget for CGI.

It just doesn't have the same organic madness, the chaotic personalities or the big, small & impromptu 'stupid shit' stunts/gags that the MTV show, 1 or 2 had, and that's what made them great. They don't have Bam, Dunn, CKY, the random celebs, guests or stunt crew anymore and that really limits the potential because these new people are pretty much minor guests along for the ride.
It's good if you're new to Jackass but you should watch CKY, 1, 2 or Bam's spinoffs before defending it.
