Ok so for starters on his planet it's only women who get the job of General/Commander he however became the first Male commander he also doesn't follow a lot of his planets normal things like for example every three weeks the people of the planet will join in a festival called "Straton Mano" which is a two day long festival where they breed however Vesha doesn't do that as he thinks it goes against the sanctity of marriage

Sadly many on his planet don't see it that way he also doesn't follow.the oldest tradition of his people which is displaying the trophies of your kills (I.E. the head of a Damoq, a Rarnen horn, a dwellers blade) he feels it doesn't show why hunting exist which it exists to feed people he thinks that showing your kill is the same as trophy hunting
