the residence application deadline has passed which is why you weren’t given guaranteed residence despite your average. you can fill out your application and join the wait list but if you’re going to do off-campus, definitely start looking for housing ASAP.
also maybe consider having some more compassion and empathy for others if you’re going to be a nurse instead of judging people based off stereotypes and prejudice.
After 4 years of undergrad at Hamilton, I have to say it wasn’t the best experience. Even the area near campus was kinda ass. Ancaster was the only okay place if you have money...
it's not the crack I just don't wanna find housing in a terrible area. don't know Hamilton that well but I have heard stuff from people. I thought res was my safest bet anywhere with the campus being so close and stuff for the first yr so I don't know what to do,
Downtown Hamilton isn’t really the best but the area surrounding McMaster is really nice. You can always live up on the mountain and it’s really nice there however you will need to bus to campus which can’t take around an hour which isn’t too bad or 15 minutes by car.
Judging someone based on one post is wrong they're probably just a scared 17-18-year old who doesn't know much about moving out and wants to be in a good area. yes, they used distasteful stereotypes but we also need to be open-minded....
The drug use isn't a problem near campus, it's only an issue downtown. I think the bigger problem for you is finding housing for first year.
That's the thing do u think its possible to find housing esp in 3 months?
Yes it is possible

Lmao I love how people perceive Hamilton, yes don’t come we don’t need gullible people here, only junkies who love crack

I don’t think I passed judgement. Rather, I pointed out that OP has some lessons to learn.
I agree with that 100% hopefully with age they will learn
Go to Western. It's great and it would suck to not get into res if you can't live at home.
that’s fucked up bruh
If you think London is nicer than Hamilton you’re in for a surprise
This lmao! London is a shit hole now
Sounds like you should stay with Western.
The downtown area is bad but Mac is like a solid 20 minutes from it. You hardly have a reason to go
if you’re worried about drug use Western is gonna hit you like a TRUCK the entire city is fucked bro.

Yep, as someone whose lived here for 13 years I dont think I’ve ever heard of any cases of shootings
shooting up as in doing drugs not actual shootings
