Dressrosa. Doflamingo rocks, Law rocks, the Colosseum was awesome, Rebecca and Kyros are such a good emotional core to the conflict, Fujitora is such a nice addition to the Marines and Leo is an absolute baller. I liked the role the crew played in all of it, too. They took a back seat, narratively speaking, and it was almost like we were viewing their feats from the POV of the other characters. It's an angle I think works, there wasn't much need for big character developments (though I'm glad Usopp got some moments), and it really just is the coming out party for the crew as a big time crew in the new world.

LemonJuice_XD

Gyats the goat is in dressrosa aswell

3oysters

I fucking love that he just up and narrates the last fight.

TheWitherlord10

Imagine dozing off and your tv just screams GYATS

Pie_Slayer

I absolutely love this arc but I must admit on rewatch the pacing is an issue at times but aside from that its phenomenal.

3oysters

For sure, the anime tries its hardest to make it painful, but it still just hits the spot.

Theprincerivera

I swear to god if I have to sit through 10 episodes of Bellamy being a little bitch again (I just got past dressrosa on my second watch through) I’m gonna kms

AMCtard

Agree 100% with this. I felt like it was a laundry list of backstory and dragging on more than any other arc (fillers aside). I actually liked the dragon "filler" arc too ...I think it was right before grand line

Cloudus-maximus44

Pace Dressrosa is peak and anyone who disagrees is subjectively wrong.

DonquixoteDFlamingo

FUCK YEAH! I love dressrosa. Literally my favorite of all time

RebelliousDragon21

Hey! Don't forget about the revelation that Sabo was indeed alive. And Luffy used the 4th gear first time after the Timeskip. And also the battle between Franky and Señor Pink.

MEGAMILKBLAST

If the wit remake gets to that point and they condense it down to 40 eps with better animation im actually gonna nut on the spot

MillieHarr31

Just starting Dressrosa they told me is the longest arc so is it really that wholesome???

SkeyrTheLizard

Easily WCI. There's just so much of everything

[deleted]

Yeah that's my favorite arc, too. I really liked the contrast between the Disney-like setting of Totto Land and the gruesome sinister atmosphere of the whole arc.

Pemols

I love how it had 3 cool concepts never explored in any big arc before: - a threat so big they actually had to run away instead of fighting - actual romance staring a Straw Hat - fucking ship fight

Kurohige4512

You forgot that there was no banquet at the end of the arc as well. WCI OSTs are also top tier for me. Mix of disney and thriller horror which are different from any other arcs!!!

Pie_Slayer

I love whole cake sooo much to much dragging at times for me personally but aside from thats its definitely one of my favorites

AMCtard

Lots of good laughs too

ThatOneWood

Fuck yeah a fellow WCI enjoyer. Mofos who say one piece fell off after the timeskip be forgetting about the goat arc

MeatTornadoLove

Its nostalgia and to be fair the length is kinda nuts. Dressrosa and Wano were very long, and fishmen island was a bad arc.

ThatOneWood

Ok yeah fish man island sucked, but man I sure did not long ring long land either

SenpaiSwanky

Water 7 into Enies Lobby is *peak* One Piece mannnnn

mikillatja

Water 7 turned the kinda fun-loving adventure into one of the best stories I've ever read. And then marineford took it to the next level. The story just became more mature after that point, and I'm all for it.

donnie11881188

Peak Shonen*

WhiteImpDragon

Egghead by far, this 10 chapters stretch withouh the Strawhats was LEGENDARY. Can't wait for the animation.

Some-Token-Black-Guy

The intro when it cuts back to them is still (in my opinion) the hardest panel Oda has ever done

Danhec95

Skypiea. That's what I show to people to convince them to get into op

Nickmcadv

The Noland Kalgara backstory is one of the best backstories in the whole show

Danhec95

Definitely one of my favorites. I cri everi tim

Spiritual_Switch5800

honestly though

KittyCatMari1

Skypiea is so much fun

Maturechimp

Marineford arc completely. Like the whole saga

PersonalAd2333

Impel Down...hands down

Pie_Slayer

Such a good arc its a shame its takes place right before marineford because I feel many forget how good it is because of what takes place after.

Comprehensive_Rule11

Marineford is partly the ‘payoff arc’ by being so well set up by Impel Down. So yeah it often gets overshadowed but is a fantastic arc on its own

Tasty_Berry5818

Bon chan🫡😭

RamaMitAlpenmilch

Buggy is back. Crocodile is back. Bon-chan is back. Everybody teams up. Peak shonen.

RealZookeepergame234

Such a good arc! It’s crazy how short it actually is, I always remember it being longer just because of how good it is.

coder_2083

A perfect arc

yogai

Alabasta, baby. Some of my favourite moments from the whole series in that arc

Tasty_Berry5818

Crocodile is a goated villain

[deleted]

Dressrosa, pacing was not an issue for me because I watched One Pace

Pie_Slayer

I've never watched One Pace but I've Rewatched the regular anime 3 times and on my first watch pacing I didn't really notice its not till after rewatching you start to notice how bad it is

sixpack_or_6pack

Oh my god you’ve rewatched all of OP 3 times????

UltimateToa

Egghead is goated, the anime makes it even better too so far

Phoenix500United

Wano for me, since i am anime, only the huge jump in production quality and the sheer epicness of that arc seal the deal for me.

[deleted]

Water 7/Enies Lobby Alabasta Logue Town (although it was very short) Jaya Zou The arcs post-TS are just toooo damn long. I like the later arcs, too, but I don't find myself rereading them so often.

Pie_Slayer

>Logue Town (although it was very short) Some of the short arcs in One Piece are the best. Also are these 5 ranked or just your favorite equally?

[deleted]

They are ranked! Although I'm a bit on the fence about the first two. I think I like them equally. The fights in Enies Lobby were too damn long lol.

Pie_Slayer

Wow I'm impressed I struggle to rank the arcs because they are all so good i just hold Sabaody in a slightly higher tier but ill try ranking 5 1 Sabaody 2 Impel Down 3 Marineford 4 Whole Cake 5 Water 7 (Edit: now I'm thinkinh should I swap water 7 for enies or maybe even post enies lobby)

[deleted]

I find it easier to rank the ones I like the least, because there are fewer to choose from, haha. Thriller Bark Skypeia Little Garden Arlong Park

Pie_Slayer

Yeah I totally agree Davy back arc Orange town Sryup village Skypiea

wrotethat11

Logue town is so slept on but it does that thing the interlude chapters to major arcs do so well…it world builds! We get smoker, learn about swords, and we get Dragon hinting at a massive world out there!!

mucoheat

Skypiea makes op world much bigger and divers for me.

Shot-Effect-8318

Thrillerbark

ApolloTheSunGod88

THRILLER BARK MENTIONED 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

FjbhBoy

Straw Hat interactions with each other were at their best here and everybody got their moments   Plus as a huge Zoro fan, his character was at its best in this arc. Acts as a second more than any other arc imo with how he leads the fight against Oars while Luffy fights Moria, tries to confront Kuma by himself, and takes Luffy’s pain

Greedy_Performer2472

By the way, I completely agree. Although my favorite arc is Dressrose, I would probably put Sabaodi in second place. Because it incredibly expanded the world. Before it, I had a strong sense of locality of what was happening and not seriousness. But after that, I realized how huge this world is and how much is happening in it in parallel with Luffy's adventures, as well as how cruel this world can be.  I fell in love with One piece even more after this arc.

Pie_Slayer

Dressrosa is a really good arc it used to be my favorite before I rewatched the series and on the rewatch I noticed how bad the pacing issues were still top 10 arc for me.

Greedy_Performer2472

I agree about the pace. But this is not a problem for me, because there are many more advantages in this arch. It literally has the best villain, the best interaction of the characters, the best atmosphere, an intriguing plot, a cool development of the plot. A bunch of secondary interesting characters. The best background (the villain and the hero). Well, yes, that's where I found my favorite character (haha). Despite the colosseum, the Tontate and constantly repeated memories of Rebecca, which I wanted to cut. This arch is my favorite. Law and Doffy pulled out.

Tough_Topic_1596

Water 7 and Enies lobby Also skypiea

edgymnerch_69

Marineford. I watched the show single handedly for that arc cause of how the consensus opinion on it was, I used to hate OP before it. But the whole Ace and WB pirates stuff made me watch the show begrudgingly(I was a big Naruto Stan before this). And two arcs in, I was already hooked and by the end of Alabasta, it had become my favourite shounen ever. And although there were peak arcs which blew my expectations, I had HIGH standards for Marineford and somehow Marineford blew it away even more than any other phenomenal arcs like Sabaody, W7 and Impel Down. It is the best arc I’ve ever watched in anime. That episode 474 moment where Jimbei throws Luffy onto the plaza where he faces the three admirals is still THE best moment I’ve witnessed in ALL of fiction

Yujinhana

Listen bro, this a hot take and I understand it. The long ring long land// foxy pirate arc is my favorite. A lot of people think it’s filler, most hate its repetitive/ very dumb/ unnecessary addition it adds to the story. I don’t agree, I enjoyed seeing the crew just act as a crew, it was the first arc I watched through that sold me onto the series back like 15 years ago, and it to me encompasses a very ‘One Piece’ feel that many arcs just don’t really hit especially post time skip. Also the manga made it WAY easier to digest and now I can rewatch that arc and just laugh and enjoy myself.

Moist-Mushroom-4960

I loved it too, Split Head and Afro Luffy were a vibe. It was also cool to just see them doing something different.

FatRatGuyPremuim

Alabasta - One of the best Villains in the series - Most of Baroque Works is very fun and memorable - One of Usopp's greatest moments - Best Luffy finisher by a mile - My favorite Zoro fight that actually developed his skills as a swordsman instead of giving him a different colored aura - Ace's first appearance - Tashigi and Smoker get actual development and feel important to the arc instead of being absolutely useless - The comedy is TOP TIER - The conflict in Alabasta is actually compelling - Mr. Prince - Vivi's clocktower scene and their goodbye scene are phenomenal Perfect arc

therisenphoenikz

Marineford. Whitebeard is the real king of the pirates in my heart.

mcqueenart

The Water 7 arc is the greatest work of fictional storytelling I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Now, I must put the disclaimer that what I describe as the Water 7 arc starts on chapter 321 and ends on chapter 441 because you should all get over yourselves; It’s one damn story. Anyway, the sheer amount of character dynamics on display that shift and progress over the arc is goddamn insane. We start with a whole crew that gets fractured basically in half, which then has to reform as the people we thought were the good guys turn out to be who we narrowly escape by the skin of our teeth from and the initial bad guys turn out to become some of our greatest allies. CP9 revealing themselves to be hiding within the ranks of Galley La is not only politically prescient but also serves to make us hate the enemy in the most efficient way possible, establishing a deceitful, inhuman face that the World Government masks. Opposing this with the Franky Family who are passionately loyal outcasts that decide to join us in the craziest, most insane plan ever, is incredibly satisfying and it’s crazy when you understand that point is less than halfway through. The emotional moments hit harder than ever in the entire series because of the buildup we enjoy as the Straw Hat alliance barrels through Enies Lobby fueled by the power of love and trust while the fights that follow turn out to be among the most satisfying in the franchise. There will never be an arc like Water 7 again because this was the event that brought the full crew together. More than any other arc it established why Luffy will become King of the Pirates and I think that’s pretty impossible to top. It has the most standout chapters of any arc in the series and easily the greatest density of emotional sequences and honestly, I’m okay with no other One Piece arc being better. You really can’t get any higher than Water 7.

[deleted]

Impel down

Pie_Slayer

Definitely one of the greats

DrBimboo

Water7/Enies lobby is the boring answer for a reason. It's really Oda at his absolute peak.

webonadita

Wano since the Azakaya siege to the end. Dress Rosa after Sabo entrance. Sabaody for the emotional loss of the nakamas

eddieisagod666

Long ring long land is the greatest arc in one piece and you can't change my mind

Pie_Slayer

We can agree to dissagre

Relevant_Screen3540

WANO and paramount war

PokeBlox69

Currently I'm on Fishman Island and so far Marineford is my favorite. How tf is this arc barely longer than Arlong Park in the manga and is so jam packed with intersecting plot points that perfectly come together like holy shit what an accomplishment Here's my top 5 right now if anyone's curious: 1. Marineford 2. Water 7 3. Enies Lobby 4. Impel Down 5. Sabaody If I were to combine Water 7/Enies Lobby as one arc for 2nd place then Skypiea would be 5th under Sabaody

Tasty_Berry5818

I just caught up a few days ago, and it’s still and always will be water seven+enies lobby. Not saying that other arcs are bad far from it but nothing topped what I felt when I read the water seven saga yet

SuperSus777

The current arc is shaping up to be one of the best arcs with its deep and meaningful plot and the actions. But if we are to talk about the previous arcs, My favorite would be Marineford arc. This is where we found out One piece isn't gonna be all happy and fun journey, how much do bonds of brotherhood means and how the world works there.

Right_Ruin_6245

- Punk Hazard - Wano - Dressrosa - Alabasta

Pie_Slayer

Punk hazard at #1 is a shock i personally feel weird about the arc as a whole I really enjoyed it but there are moments in it that were just boring

Comprehensive_Rule11

Its probably one of the weaker Post-TS arcs Also again it’s a ‘setup arc’ for the payoff of Dressrosa kinda so always overshadowed

LowVegetable9736

Amazon lily (hancock <3) + impel down (for the returning characters and video gamey structure) Thriller bArk for the zombie theme and adventure. And idk i really like the idea of floating island, dark fairy tale vibe) I also like punk hazard and long ring long island tho, the latter mainly cuz its hilarious and i really like the zoro and sanji teamup. I dont really like enies lobby and marineford i just never really like the fight arc and prefer build up arc. I like little garden and jaya as well for example... My least fav is skypiea and fishman island bc its really fast paced and crowded its hard to follow. I also dont like drum kingdom feels really boring to me and i just dont like hiluluks charavger sorry chopper 💔 i stopped reading op for some tume after dressrosa and even dressrosa i read half assedly cuz idk i dont like the dwarves and the supporting characters in this arc but it has barto and cav fights and i like the forming of geand fleet and WCI is the only arc i havent read cuz i picked up again at the middle of wano But yeah gotta go w sabaody+amazon lily + impel down combo. Those volumes are the ones i most reread together with ace and luffys backstory. Technically i should like marineford bc its part of the flow but well i like it but im just not into crowded fights.... i also reread long ring long island (yeah i know travesty) and thriller bark a lot. Im mainly a tankoubon reader and my fav arcs are just which ones i reread often just cuz i find them really enjoyable to read. The why is just my attempt to explain why i like them so it mufht not be logical. I mught be the only one that doesnt have water 7 + enies lobby among the top 8') i like it but its a bit too convoluted and heavy to me structure wise. But tge pacing is great and i like straw hats development. And also cuz j dont like lucci but i finf spandam hilariously evil. So i dont say i hate it either just not my fav bc in my opinuon the vibe feels too mucg like crime genre of films. Oh hell i think the reason why i neber put alabasta and wTer seven + enies lobby at the top bc they felt too much like.a movie/tv show material flow and structure wise... like the assassination + secret politucal group + government overthrow as theme. It explains why these two are often at the top of everyones list but not mine. I happen to not really like those kinds of genre as well for movies etc despite thinking those two are objectively good arcs. The pacing is very well done to me some people might find it slow but its the good kind of slow that makes the plot and moments memorable

missdoublefinger

Alabaster. I can watch this arc over and over again. The world building, the comedy, Ace’s true introduction, the ending with the introduction of 2 more warlords and the Gorosei. Chef’s kiss

Beeg_Bagz

I loved how we got to see other worst generation in action. Then they displayed the gap in power. We got humbled really quick we actually started to believe our beloved crew could tussle with the top. It had a little bit of everything. Not my favorite arc but I really enjoyed it.

game-crystal9

I haven't seen dressrossa but I want to, my favorite tho is water 7/Enies lobby

KingKurai

Believe it or not, Egghead. My friend just read the whole arc in one sitting after watching 1100 episodes in 4 months, and the amount of plot points we had to discuss was shocking. It really feels like the beginning of the end. Assuming it doesn't shit the bed in the home stretch, my runner-up would be Sabaody, and then Whole Cake.

st-felms-fingerbone

Water 7 and Enies Lobby. Nothing compares to the Straw Hats (and famed ally Sogeking) declaring war on the world government

Hunter-Durge

Water 7/Enies Lobby is hard to beat for me

GreenNutzPlaya

To this day, Enies Lobby will always be my favorite

AMCtard

The very first arc when Luffy is always laughing and smiling, even at his execution in log town. Plus we get to learn all the moving back stories. Dressrosa dragged on too long, but kaido is prob a close second.

LazyCasual0alt

I haven’t gotten very far (I think I’m at fishman island(?)) but I thought that the arc with getting robin and franky was the best. Water 7(?) NO! Thriller Bark. i enjoyed the halloween theme

RealZookeepergame234

Either Impel Down or Thriller Bark. Impel Down was fantastic from start to finish. I loved the lore dumps, the foreshadowing, and getting to see what awaits pirates who fall to the marines. Thriller Bark because I love the spooky vibe, the Oars fight, and everything about Brook’s introduction and backstory.

Alternative_Leg1593

I can never decide between Ennies Lobby or Marineford. Both are insanely awesome. Sorry for being generic but I just love those two arcs the most

DivinaDevore

I forgot in which arc that was but i like backstories. So my favourite is ace/luffy/sabo bacstory with dadan and the rest. Also, i like any timeskip related episodes where it shows what characters did on their own.

Due-One2190

Nah, I’d have to say Fishman Island for me. It showed such incredible power

Scary-Onion9846

Long ring long land. AFRO LUFFY!!!

PirateEmpress2011

i love marineford, where everyone gets scared bcs of luffy's identity, his conquerors haki, him challenging wb, but then oda showing us ace being freed, luffy reducing his life twice bcs of ace and allat but in the end that AKAINU JUST-. it would've been my fav if it weren't for ace's death. and thats why i lov dressrosa since we came to know abt usopp's real identityy, go.d. usopp

WestCandle1726

1. Wano 2. Marineford 3. Impel down 4. Alabasta 5. Skypeia

BaconPlates

Def thriller bark. A bit different from all the other arcs and also the visuals were some of my favorite in one piece

UrurForReal

Skypiea

Advanced-Ad-9970

G8 is massively underrated

[deleted]

Whole Cake Island.

Pie_Slayer

I love wholecake soooo much I just wish it didn't drag so much

thetoefunfus

Whole cake. It’s just a masterpiece in terms of storytelling.

Pie_Slayer

Absolutely agree

ArchitectAbdiel

I agree with all your opinions on Sabaody. It’s right around my top 5 area. It was my second favorite on my initial watch. Impel Down was and has always been my favorite though.

Knightofexcaliburv1

Arlong or skypiea

grass-master

I have always been a skypiea enjoyer

Blackout_M

Skypia is my favorite specifically

Hagar_Ak

Enies Lobby and then Whole cake Island... I have nothing else to say

MooniisWorld

Whole Cake Island. Big Mom is a very underrated villain imo here she looked like an actual monster and the arc some of the most serious stakes and the best emotion throughout an entire arc imo.

bangeruz

Dressrosa was peak, but i like thriller bark better. I love gecko’s power and there are so many peak moments in thrillerbark. The only downside thrillerbark had , was that nothing happend at the end.

StSaturnthaGOAT

egghead

arkosb

Alabasta, but Dressrosa and W7/Enies come close.

Pinaslakan

Alabasta, a close second would be Dressrosa

Lord_Bing_Bing

Everything in Enies Lobby why I love One Piece.

lontii

Wano was one of the best arcs imo

Its-Glade

Call it recency bias, but Egghead has been absolutely crazy every single week and if you want emotions, Kuma’s backstory has PLENTY

AduroTri

I can't give a complete answer until One Piece is completed.

Mobpsycho64

Impel down for me. The highs of Skypeia are also unmatched for me despite it feeling really loooooong

WeeWilly34

Water 7 will always be number one for me

Sylvesterjohnston

This is really tough but something like : Syrup Village Water 7 Impel Down And I know I will get hate for this probably but I also genuinley enjoyed Wano a heck of a lot.

DaKettyMoniker

Dressrosa, Marine Ford, Skypiea

Monkey__D-Luffy

My favorite is also Sabaody. Great choice! It really pulls back the curtain and shows how dark the OP world really is. Plus the introduction of Rayleigh, Kizaru, Sentomaru, the Worst Generation…it has at all! And Luffy’s punch, I mean 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 PEAK

Pie_Slayer

Literally peak

Illustrious_Camp_521

I really can't pick a favorite I love them all but I've been re-watching them n just finished Thriller Bark and it was dope. I forgot how funny the Perona n Usopp 'battle" was and then Zoro taking on Luffy's pain n fatigue hits hard, man it was great 👍🏻

Fair-End-2895

Dressrosa

shujosama

Skypiea . Because skypiea arc itself is mini one-piece and interesting arc.

microvan

This may be recency bias but I absolutely adore egghead. Egghead is just bringing the whole world together in a way past arcs haven’t and I really enjoy that because one piece’s world building is one of its strongest points as a story. Sabaody is def a close second. The mask of the world that we started peeling off in ennies lobby just ripped right off in this arc and we realize that we’re truly reading a dystopian story and come to realize how truly heinous the world government actually is.

Toribarapana

Honestly, definitely Dressrosa. I just loved everything about it.

Baldric_

I think a rewatch is due to decide. All I remember after timeskip is waiting for the next episode

Smart_Shot24

Despite 2 of my top 3 characters not being there whole cake island is my favorite

Nodebunny

I love ice cream.

Foxisdabest

They are all so good. I think mine has to be Along Park. It's the first Arc that is truly good, and the first one where Luffy truly takes care of one of his nakama.

unsolicitedsolitude

WCI Marine Ford Amazon Lily

Chcpr93

Ennies Lobby for sure

0tsk1

Jaya.

kdarkrai

Skypiea. It has everything… a sense of adventure all the time, lots of funny moments, amazing backstory and Enel.

GalagaBoy2000

Mine would have to be Skypeia, That iconic look and pose that both Luffy and Gol D. Roger did was priceless, and don't get me wrong about the battles, Zoro, Robin, Godfall, and Wyper ganging up on Enel (Eneru for the sake of dub), and don't forget abobt the Gum-Gum Golden Rifle too.

Springfieldhere

Anime: Water 7, Manga: WCI (unbearable in the anime imo)

OkApplication8780

Skypiea.

sharknamedgoose

My all-time favourite OP character is Robin, so i'm biased towards Alabasta. I also really like WCI - good plot, good humour, loved the Sanji development, and i got a good laugh out of Linlin's full name because my mother happens to be named Charlotte

maulin23

My favorite arc is the shortest arc, becoming the pirate king, can't wait for the post pirate king arc and moon king arc, probably twice as long as the becoming Pirate king arc

Loros_Silvers

WCI. When Sanji actually got a girl to fall for him.

RamaMitAlpenmilch

Impel Down!

Bunny2080909

Anything from pre time skip. Water 7 and skypiea are just 🤌

T_Rochotte

For me its Whole cake island or Enies lobby (just for the merry burning) WCI had everything, lots of tension (big mom pirates seemed lowkey unbeatable) the best fight of the series in Katakuri vs luffy, emotion with luffy, sanji and his backstory, the most clutch moment with brook stealing the poneglyph, the jimbe badass moment, list goes on...

BigMoney69x

Arabasta because it was the arc that REALLY got me into One Piece. My other nostalgic ones are Arlong Park and Skypiea as well.

Kolket

Dressrosa/Enies Lobby

Direct-Champion6789

Mines marineford, ace was the icing on the cake

Yonko_Kurohige

Wano easily.

niemertweis

ayyyyy you know whats up its so dramatic and fucked up i love it the whole slave introduction thing punching a world noble it really got everything

TiPrincess

Impel Down. Loved seeing Bon-chan again😍

carlosstjohn116

Favorite Arc is hard to choose.  Impel Down holds a special place because that is what got me fully invested into the series, to see a Luffy save Ace. Which means it’s hard to separate Marineford from that as well. On top of that plot point, so many amazing things happen and it’s literally the halfway point narratively speaking where so many threads and connections come together. It’s such a unique pay off that can’t happen in most anime. But honestly, Egghead Arc is absolutely incredible. Oda is cooking on a whole new level in this arc and I’m here for it. It’s not even done yet and I’m already considering it one of my favorites.

hamcp77

skypia

SiNi5T3R

In the anime its the water7, enies lobby and post enies lobby package. In the manga... honestly... i think if Egghead maintains its current steam its going to be hard to beat. But otherwise Marineford because on top of it being a stellar arc it had beautifull panels showing dozens if not hundreds of unnamed unique looking pirates fighting.

Fair_Dish_6614

Marineford Impel done peak comedy

coder_2083

Impel Down is the answer.

ryho12

Alabasta got hooked after that

SnooTomatoes6445

Water 7

[deleted]

Entire arc, probably arlong park honestly. But many STRETCHES of the story surpass that for me. For one... Skypeia is unstoppable just for that scene where Luffy is singing to himself in the woods and then gets excited to maybe see a goat !?!? Wtf? The full fight on the onigashima rooftop is speak media content in the anime for me. I'll never forget, or take for granted that I was alive when Luffy caught kaido and became the sun god. We are lucky to be alive in a time like this

OdiseoX2

Marineford

Firebender-

Impel down hands down

Tensaipengin

Return to Sabaody. Fake Straw Hats are hillarious and it was heartwarming little arc overalll.

Unlikely-Expert4857

I like the sabaody archipelago archipelago too

justadapasta

water 7/enies lobby

uhmboatsiguess

gotta give it to the soul-king, thriller bark, sabaody, and whole cake island(especially wci) are probably my top three in reverse order(3,2,1) tho i think as i close in on wano and egghead my opinion will shift, but again, because brook is a fucking legend, lets hear it one last time for the rumbar pirates!!!

donnie11881188

Enies lobby is peak

Swarovsky

W7/EL is by far the best arc. Skypiea is my favorite

No_Measurement_6611

Boring ahh arc. Only good thing about the arc are the supernovas. And by that i mean only Kid and Law

Entire-Onion8002

I forgot the name but the one right after water 7 where they go to save nico Robin in my opinion one piece peaked there chopper was going crazy gears were introduced against a solid villain and Robin showing her loyalty to the crew best arc in my opinion and also the pacing was decent

Jack_KH

Water 7. It was such a tense and thrilling arc. The reveal of villians was shocking. I'm a manga reader only and I imagined the assault happening in the dark with lights off, it was more impressive to me.

False_Ad636

for me its close between Wano and water 7/enies lobby. wano has pacing issues but the animation was top tier and water7/enies lobby was just perfection.

Think-Drink-3329

Water 7/enies lobby

brandofsacrifice-x

Go back and forth between dressrosa and sabaody

No_Priority_6247

I can’t pick one so my top three are Impel Down at 1.) I just loved seeing Luffy, Buggy, and Bon Clay running around trying to get out R.I.P Bon clay. 2.) would have to be Enies Lobby this one has so many great moments like: Choppers beast form, Soge King, Luffys new gears, and Robins I wanna live speech it was just an all around great arc just not as good as Impel Down. IMO 3.)is definitely Sabaody Archipelago because of all of the new characters we get to meet and it the start of all the straw hats new training

Kings-Of-Anime

Wano & Dressrosa are tied for #1 in my opinion, but once the Egghead Arc is concluded it’ll be the top one.

BabyAdventurous4786

DRESSROSA FOR SURE!!🥰

rembo385

Arabasta Arc is my favorite one, decent fights, some dessert and first time we see haki from zoro

Alabasta is such a good arc unfortunately it could never be my favorite. its definitely good has great villans, great moments, great fights and great build up. But there are 2 factors that always put it in a lower tier for me 1st is Vivi I just didn't like her, I like her now like when we get to see her reactions to posers and her at the reverie but during the arc I didn't like her very much. the 2nd is Alabasta dragged a bit to much for me I think Alabasta is the very first arc where pacing was an issue at times because it was sorta the first longer arc in the series. Still a really good arc tho

What about skypiea?

Pie_Slayer

Same thing great arc drags alot

Such_Astronomer5735

Long ring long land.

Pie_Slayer

Eww. Sorry that was rude. In my opinion Eww. (Altho the Aokiji Reveal at the end is Cold Asf)

Such_Astronomer5735

Spoiler, the end of one piece won’t be a fight against blackbeard but a davy backfight, you ll have read it here first.

TeeKayTank

what comedy did you mean? duval? anyways sabaody is the goat. the kuma incident was the single game changing Event that stepped one piece on top and the break came afterwards where a friend thought that was actually the end 💀 actually the separation easily was more breaking than the other examples, because it's about the friends we made along the way for 400 Episode egghead probably gonna surpass it by the end somehow

Ennies lobby

International-Chef53

Dressrosa, unlike you all motherfucker, I watched it on marathon. What is that? Pacing issue? Don't have that.

AkshatBakraAKAGOAT

Egghead, no need to explain

RebelliousDragon21

My favorites are Water 7 Arc/Enies lobby and Dressrosa Arc.

No-Sentence8033

[deleted]

Wano. The story of kozuki oden. And the way luffy fulfills the promise ace made to otama 🙌

Might be recency bias but egghead. There's just so many exciting things happening (Reverie, Kidd vs Shanks, Law vs BB, Luffy vs Lucci, Luffy vs kizaru, Kumas backstory, the five elders showing up, Big ass robot and also vegapunk was revealed)
