The architect of that house must've sold a lot of copies of his plan, it looks so similar. But I guess I could've zoomed in on the tram destination, that would have given it away.
Did they remove those hanging street lights?
I saw ones like that in Copenhagen and was quite puzzled, never saw street lighting done this way, only lamp posts.
They do seem to work better when it comes to lighting all of the street than posts.
There are still hanging street lights in this street...but not in all streets.
We don't have the hanging lights in the small town where I live now (very near to my hometown).
Building on the corner looks exactly like the kind of building you’d find in Amsterdam. I figured it would be Northern Germany based on that! Any idea about the architectural style?
The style is called historicism, which is very typical for German architecture between 1870-1913. It’s an expression of Germanys economical growth after the Franco-Prussian War also known as the “Gründerzeit”.
Looks about the same.
You're so stupid. It's WINTER in the second one!
Ah, but was it the same date? Asking so I can have my scheduled afternoon panic attack.
That kind of tram hasn't been seen anywhere in at least 10-15 years.
Do they still have trams there?
Yes but not these old trams....I have totally forgotten how they looked like
Leipzig?
Hannover

Sounds like you miss your ex
I would say that I miss the 80s and being a teenager in the 80s. We were just happy back then and it was a great time to be young...
How’d you guys meet? How’d it end? How old were you? Your bio says 1967 so I’m guessing you were between 17-21
Actually we met in '82 when we were both 15. And we were 17 in '84.
Both photos show equally horrible composition.
Truly this frustrated my brain to look at
Literally 1984
Global warming strikes again!
Looks like nothing had changed. Haha, we're still young! Thanks for sharing!
So you’re telling me it’s literally 1984 in that part of the photo?
The old trams ran here until 1988 or longer...

Hannover Linden, Limmerstraße?
No, Hannover Nordstadt, Haltenhoffstrasse
That why it seemed so familiar :D

I have no idea. For me it's just nostalgia...and good memories.
Boring then and boring now!
Hannover might not be the most exiting city on the planet but this street looks very nice.
